"Mommy where we going?" Carlie asked "Uncle Devin house" I say "Who's that?" Cali asked "You'll see". I pulled up to Devin house, I got the bags and stuff out the car and then got the kids out. We walked up to up to the front door and I knocked, minutes later this girl open the door, it was the same girl that knocked on my door and that was at the aquarium. "Yn?" "Um hey, is Devin here? "Yeah come in", we walked in and Devin came downstairs, "Hey Yn, what you doing here?" He asked "Well Lucas and I got in a argument and we broke up so I was seeing if we could stay here for a couple days" I say "Oh I'm sorry, and yeah you can" "Thanks I really appreciate it" "No problem". "So how y'all know each other?" Mariana asked "We were friends ever since high school" Devin say "Ohhh okay".
Carlie, Cali and I went upstairs to the guest room, I sat on the bed, I didn't know that Mariana was Devin girlfriend, maybe me thinking her and Lucas is messing around is wrong. Suddenly tears came to my eyes and I realized how much I missed Lucas and how much I loved him but I couldn't go back, I didn't deserve to be cheated on. Like all that we been through and he gone do this to me like why, "Mommy you okay?" Cali asked I couldn't say yeah because I wasn't "No not really baby" I say, Carlie and Cali came up to me and hugged me, they were comforting me which I loved. "What happen?" Minutes later Devin came in and met the kids and he played with them which is adorable.
He then came over to the bed and sat next to me, "Look I know you hurting but cheer up baby girl, he obviously don't deserve you he had a good girl but he lost you and now it's time to move on it may not be easy but at least you can try" he say as he wrapped his arm around me "You right, thanks for being here and for letting us stay here" I say "Anything for you" I smiled. We talked for a few more minutes then he left, suddenly my phone went off I looked at it realizing it was Lay. "Hello" I say "Hey, I'm sorry about the break up" she say "How you know we broke up?" How could I be so stupid? I should've treated her right I should've put all my focus on her instead of going to the club every night. I kept filling her head with lies, I should've took the time to give her everything she deserved, I should've loved her better.
