Joel's POV
I walk upstairs to where Arabella went and I suddenly hear the door open. She comes sprinting out and before I could move, she knocks me straight to the ground. As we both groan to the pain we're in, I look to her. Her glasses are off. She looks good without them, like really good. She shouldn't wear them, they take away the attraction to her big blue eyes. When I finally find her glasses, I pass them to her. "Here you go."
"Thanks, sorry I hit-" she stops midway, and looks down to our position. I'm sitting right under her and she's on my lap. "S-s-sorry, I-I-I didn't mean to."
She quickly gets up and pats her jeans, avoiding my gaze. It didn't really feel wrong to have her on my lap. It felt rather nice actually. As I grin, she looks over my shoulder and immedietly gasps. I turn over to see Nick standing there, shocked at what he saw.

Arabella's POV
I stare up in shock, as I realize that Nick was standing there. Oh my god! He just saw me sitting on his brother's lap! I try to say something, but then my father calls me and tells me it's time to go. I run downstairs past Nick and Joel without looking at them or saying a word.
"There you are sweetie, I was starting to get worried."
I freeze, wondering how long I was in that awkward atmosphere. "Oh no dad, I'm fine."
We quickly say our goodbyes and head towards our car. I tense when I realize that the twins are staring at me from the window. As soon as we hit the highway, I begin to relax. Thank god we are out of that house, I couldn't stand being in that awkward atmosphere. As we drive home, I quickly fall asleep, thinking of what the brothers could be saying about me now.

Nick's POV
Arabella and her dad are long gone when me and Joel are still in that awkward atmosphere. Why was she sitting on him? I began to feel irritated when I remebered what happened. Wait, why am i angry!? I notice Joel looking flustered and when he sees me staring, he starts to blush. I try my best to stay calm and collected, but I end up sounding harsh.
"So what was that about?" I nearly growl. Joel stares in shock as he hears my voice.
"N-nothing. What are you talking about? Nothing happened okay?" he scoffs, avoiding eye contact.
Before I could ask anymore questions, our mom asks us to come down. Joel rushes past me and down the stairs. I try my best to ignore it.
As we reach downstairs, we see all the brothers laying on the couch while mom paces around in the room. We sit down and wait for our mom to gather her thoughts. "What do you guys think of Arabella?"
We all look at eachother and say in unison,"She seems nice. Why?"
Our mom lets out a deep sigh and turns to us instantly."Because, before Richard and I get married, we want to go traveling around the world. Tonight's dinner happened because Richard wanted to see if you were all capable and he came to the conclusion that you were."
We all stared at her in confusion. Capable? Capable for what? Chris is the one brave enough to ask. "What did he see us capable of?" He asked in confusion.
My mom hesitated then spoke,"We want Arabella to move here and stay with you guys while we go travel around the world. She is capable to take care of herself, but Richard would feel more assured if she was here with you guys." We all looked in shock as we try to process what she is saying. She wants us to live with a girl who isn't related to us? An attractive YOUNG girl?
Dylan, who shows some concern says, "But who will cook for us? Who will clean for us? How can we look after her? How do we feed her?" These are some pretty good questions to ask.
Mom frowns,"She isn't a pet who needs to be taken care of. She can take care of herself. Also, she can do the cooking and cleaning because she does it at her house. Trust me, you would prefer her food to mine since mine is always... Burnt"
"Are you sure this is okay? I mean she is a girl living with 7 guys she just met?" I ask in confusion. Clearly no girl would be comfortable in that kind of situation.
"Of course she would honey, I mean it's not like she would find ANY of you guys attractive." Mom chuckles as we all glare at her, but then let it go realizing that mom doesn't even realize how greatly she offended us. Maybe it won't be so bad to have a girl living with us. We all share glances and then quietly get up.
"Okay, we'll live with Arabella while you two travel the world."
Mom instantly hugs all of us and runs for her phone to tell Richard. It's not like anything will go bad, will it?
