I waited and waited for Jack to come home. I tried to study to take my mind off of things but it was no use. Suddenly, I heard tapping on the window. I looked down and opened the window. Out of the blue, a rock with a piece of paper flew through the window and onto the floor behind me. I looked down trying to see who threw it, but all I saw was a figure running away. I grabbed the rock and took the note of. The note said:
(Y/N),
I won't be coming back to the university. Ever. I don't want you to see me in this condition I'm in. I also did things that I regret. Also, please, don't come looking for me. I'm scared that I'll harm you too.

I read the note over and over again. He wasn't coming back?! Why?! I wish he'd tell me. The note was pretty vague. But it was just enough to get ne motivated to go look for him. I looked at the clock. Twelve midnight. Sadly, my lazy side got the best of me. I'll take a 'short' nap then go and look for Jack. I'll find him. I swear.
