Laughter surrounds me, a great sound for my ears. I don't think I have laughed in ages, but it just feels good to be apart of it. Or even be the source of the laughter. I sit, in Ashton's living room with him, Calum and Michael. I told them about how Riley's boyfriend came to deliver my pizza and they found it extremely funny, especially Ashton.

"You know, I thought she could maybe get someone decent, but seriously a pizza delivery boy?" Ashton giggled, tears in eyes. I smile at how amusing he found it to be.

"Hey, you're not that much better, you work for your mom." Calum joked. Since the band took a break, we had all gotten some jobs doing little things. Calum was working with his girlfriend, Payton at an animal rescue center and Michael was working at a music shop. And I, wasn't working anywhere, because my mental state barely allowed me to make myself toast in the morning, let alone get a job.

"Right now yeah, but one day we will be touring the world so I'm not worried," Ashton replied. He has huge hopes for the band, and so did I but it was just hard for me.

"You really think so?" Michael asks.

"Yeah, I think we all know it's possible, we had such a big fan base before. Plus Calum and I have been working on writing new songs anyways. We practically have a whole album written." Ashton tells us.

"Luke, what do you think?" Calum asks me. I think all of them have been careful around me about the whole situation I faced, they don't want to bring up the band because they think it will stress me out. But since my life has consists of nothing, I think a lot about the band. Music is one of the things I cannot live without. I miss playing shows and having that amazing feeling when people cheer for us.

"Honestly, I miss it a lot." I say.

"Do you think you would be able to handle it?" Ashton asks.

I wasn't sure how much of the life of being in the band I could handle at this moment, but I would ease into it. There was still a lot going on in my head, but being with the boys and writing and recording music would be a good distraction. "I think so, maybe just a little at a time if that's okay with you guys?" I say.

"Bro! Does that mean we are getting the band back together?" Michael says, I can't help but laugh because it was just so cheesy.

"Fuck yeah, crack open the beer let's celebrate." Calum says, and runs to the other room to get the beer.

I missed doing this, even when I was that douchebag that hated everything before, I still enjoyed their company. Even Michael, since he's gotten back from rehab, it's like he's a new person. I've learned to forget what happened, and Andy feels the same. Even though she might never forget what he did, she's willing to move on. Though everything is okay, I would still not hesitate to beat Michael's ass if he ever steps out of line.

Just sayin'

After a few beers, we are all sprawled out on the couch, just talking. "Luke?" Calum asks after the conversation goes dry.

"Yes?" I answer.

Calum sits up from his position on the couch. "How are you doing? Like really?" Ashton and Michael sit up to listen. The guys only know that I was taken and held in captivity for a month, but don't know anything else. I know they worry about me but don't want me to have to explain it.

I sigh as I realize talking about it with them might actually help me. "Honestly, I was miserable. I lived in fear almost everyday and the nightmares were constant. I don't think I had ever been so, fucked up."

I take a deep breath and continue, knowing that all of their eyes were on me. "But then I realized whoever the person who took me, got all the information they needed and dropped me, they most likely weren't going to come for me again. So that made it better. And that's kind of where I am, trying my hardest to get over the whole thing and to move on with my life."
