Chapter 3

Nate's P.O.V

Beep

Beep

Beep

Sighing, I got up from my so called bed and read the clock. It said 5:40, I had to wake up early to cook for them. Walking to my shower I wince each time I took a step. My stomach felt as if it were on fire. Entering the bathroom I stared at myself at the mirror, my left eye was swollen and was purple, on the left side of my lips was a cut. Sighing, I strip out of my clothes and entered the bathtub.

After 15 minutes I got out and changed. After I was fully dressed I went downstairs and into the kitchen. I cooked eggs, bacon and pancake, knowing very well they love it. After I was done, I started to set up the table. A few minutes passed by hearing no sound but then I heard numerous of footsteps. A few pack members came down first, then the third in command came with his mate Jess. After they came, the Beta Buddy and his mate Bell entered the kitchen. Then comes Calvin and his sister Amy.

I went to the far left corner and stared at the white chipped off wall.

Everything was fine, no one complain Until Alpha Calvin called for me.

"NATE COME HERE YOU LITTLE FUCKER" I wince at the tone of his voice, walking towards him I kept my head down to show respect.

"Look up you mutt." He yelled angrily, I looked just to see hatred in his eyes. He stood in front of me and took out his belt. Before he can hit me with it, I guess he got a mind link because he stopped.

"You lucky piece of shit, we have to go. Amy you stay here, The rest go to the cars." Everyone answered with a ' Yes Alpha'. He looks at me with disgust.

"Don't try anything with my sister, if you do I'll kill you." With that he turned and walked out the house. When they left Amy looks at me and spoke.

"Nate this is your chance run! run now and never come back, Please I beg you!" She pleaded as she looks at me.

I hesitated but nodded, I had to leave! if I don't I'll be dead in no time. My answer made her grin.

"Go now!" She told me as smiles brightly.

I widen my eyes, "Now?" I ask her. She nodded her head.

"Yes now!" She exclaims as she points towards the door.

"B-b-but I'll be a rogue." I told her as I stutter. Her grin disappeared and was replaced with a frown.

"Nate please go." She said, her frown deepen.

I nodded, She slowly walk towards me and wraps her arms around me.

"I'll miss you." She whisper in my ear, I let out a light smile.

"Me too." I told her as I pulled away slightly. Before I could make it out Amy stopped me.

"I have to see something okay Nate?" I was confused, what did she need to see. She walked closer to me making our foreheads touch my eyes went wide as she leans in closer, I moved my head so she kissed my cheek.

"I'm sorry Amy but I want my mate to be my first kiss I'm really sorry." I sound like a girl, but it's true.

Amy nodded her head and lets out a grin.

"Your mate is a lucky girl or boy, umm who ever your mate is," I chuckled at her awkwardness.

"Bye Amy, thank you for everything. Thank you for helping me when nobody else did." I told her in a whisper, she lets out frown.

"Your welcome Nate, you have to go now! Calvin mind linked me and told me he's on his way." She said as her eyes went wide.

I nodded, having one more glance at the pack house I walking out of the door I striped down and changed into my dark brown wolf. I ran and ran until I was tired. Once I was tired, I settled myself down on the ground. I was about to sleep until I heard growls, standing up on my four paws I looked around and saw nothing. Untill I spotted two men walking towards me, both of them having a strong aura.

Which means one is beta and the other third in command.

"Shift." The man with a strong sent said. Not want any trouble, I walked behind a tree, I shifted back and changed. Walking back, one of them spoke.

"State your business here." He said in a cold voice.

"I -I -I r-r-ran a-a-away." I told him honestly. I inwardly cursed at myself as I hear myself stutter. Both men slowly nodded their heads as they look at me up and down.

"You'll have to wait for the Alpha." The one with stronger aurora said, I slowly nodded my head.
