My Omega Mate

Chapter- 21

              I look into his eyes, it showed hurt and sadness. I quickly look away as I felt tears rolling down my cheeks.

      "I don't know Jake." I simply say as I glare at the coffee table that sits in front of us.

     I hear him let out a sigh.

"Clair, I love you and we both now that you and your mate do not belong together. You belong with me. I'll make you mine Clair because you and I belong together." He says as he walks closer to me.

   He's now on his knees as he takes hold of my face. I look at him as he looks at me with his forest green eyes.

   "You and I Clair Bear. You and I." He whispers as he lightly presses his lips against mine. My wolf is howling with joy as my brain says that this is wrong.

  He slowly pushes away. He leans in and places a kiss on my forehead. I let out a sigh as I close my eyes.

  "I must go, I'll see you in a bit." He says as he walks away and slams the door.

As the door shuts close I quickly stood up and started to pace around the room. The memories of the two of us comes rushing back, the way he made me feel. I let out a loud sigh as I ran a hand through my hair.

   "Come one Clair!" Jake says as he tugs my arm. I let out a little laugh as I notice him stumbling through the forest.

     "No." I said as I shake my head. He turns around and glares at me. He walks forward as he crosses his arm.

  "No?" He repeats, I nodded my head as I bite my lip. He narrows his colored eyes, I had to stop my self from looking at him in awe.

    "You heard me," I said with a goofy smile. He lets out a light laugh as he shakes his head, his eyes shining with amusement.

      "Then you leave me with no choice." He said as he walks forward, my eyes widening as I notice what he's trying to do. I quickly turned around and ran in werewolf speed. I let out huff when Jake jumps on me knocking me down.

     "Bad Clair Bear, bad." He whispers. I roll my eyes at him, he flips me over and throws me over his shoulder. I let out a defeated huff and glared at the grass.

    "Clair, you left me with no other choice." He exclaims as he tighten his hold on me. I cross my arms and pouted.

     He lets out a sigh, "Do you want to see your surprise?" He says, my ears instantly perked up.

     "What surprise?" I question as I knit my eyebrows together. He lets out a laugh as he shakes his head.

     "It wouldn't be a surprise if I told you." He simply says as he walks over the tree branch that was trying to trip him.

     "Darn it, it should've tripped you!" I mumbled softly.

   "Heard that!" He says as he started to run.

    I rolled my eyes,"You were suppose to." He suddenly stops, he places me softly on the ground. His forest green eyes staring into mine.

    "You must cover your eyes, Clair." He says firmly. Knowing him, I nodded my head as I place my palms over my eyes. His arms circle around my waist as we started to walk.

Once we stop, I can hear his heart pounding against his chest. Making me question what we're doing here. He comes closer and softly pulls my hands away, he places a kiss on my forehead as he moves and stands next to me.
