Chapter 10

Clair's pov:

Right now both Nate and I are walking towards Beth and I's house. He kept putting some space whenever I try to walk closer to him which made my wolf and I upset and angry. As we entered the wooden gate I could feel his nervousness which made me Curious. I looked at him just to see him looking at the ground while his eyebrows are furrowed. I cleared my throat a bit to rough, which made him snap his head towards me. His beautiful eyes boring into mine almost made me forget what I was going to ask, key word almost.

"Is everything okay?" I asked while jumping over the little log that almost made me trip. Nate looked at me for a second and nodded his head.

"Everything alright" He said, I heard him hesitate for a second. I let out a sigh. As we climbed the little stairs I knocked on the door. I can hear Beth cussing at something, which was very rare because Beth has this huge rule for cussing.

"FUUUUCK!" I heard her scream, I rolled my eyes and knocked again. The door is unlocked but I love getting under Beth's skin. I can hear her groans and grunts.

"Robin go get it you twat" I widen my eyes and looked at Nate. He looked at me with his face full with confusion.

"Is everything alright?" He asked as he looked at me. My mouth gaped open and I shook my head. He looked at me with a frown.

"What's wrong? Are you okay? Does anything hurt? Do you want me to get you something, I don't know were things are but I'll ask the guy name Nick. Are you hungry ? Do you want food? Do you want me to get Beth? Hopefully she won't get creep out" He said in one whole breath. I stared at him with awe, he's so freaking adorable.

"Nate" I said while he kept talking but he didn't pay attention.

"Nate!" I said again but it didn't get his attention. "NATE!" I said he stopped talking.

"Yes love?" He asked. I could hear Beth and Robin talk.

"Go get the damn door Robin!"

"You go get it!"

"No you !"

"You heard it!"

"But I'm watching The Flash! And being my mate you should know how important this show is to me!" Beth said, I could see Robin rolling his eyes at his mate.

"Fine! I'll go get it!" He said

"Thank you, love you!" Beth said in her innocently. Hearing Robins footsteps getting closer to the door, I grabbed Nate's wrist and made him run. He kept limping while we ran, something happen while he was with Alpha Calvin but what the hell happen.  Out of nowhere Nate fell to the ground. Startled I ran towards him just to see his breathing getting slower. I hooked my arms around his skinny arms and around his back. I mind link the pack house nurse as I ran towards the pack house.

"Get everything ready I have an important patient go in, NOW"

"Yes Alpha"

The house was getting closer and closer, all of the pack mates looked at me with worried but I didn't care at that very moment all I care about is my little mate. Melanie the pack house nurse met me outside and quickly open the door. I quickly rushed him over to the bed side, I looked at Melanie with a serious face

"If you don't make him wake up I promise you, you'll never see light again"

She quickly nodded her head

"Yes Alpha"

I sat down on the chair besides his bed. Mel was checking him,

"HES BREATHING IS SLOWER MEL! CHECK HIM!"

Mel let out a sigh "Alpha, I need you to get out of here. You're making me nervous from your staring and your screaming is not helping" I let out a growl.

"Fine, next time you talk to me like that your done. Take care of my mate and if anything happens TELL ME" I said. She pointed towards the door as a signal to get out. I scowled while walking out, I quickly mid link Beth to Come to the pack house. I don't want to loose him, I just got him.
