Chapter 7

Slowly and carefully I turned around and see Nick standing next to Beth. What the hell happen to his hair. It was everywhere, his jet black hair was sticking in every direction.

I couldn't take it anymore so I laughed, hard.

"Wh-h-hat the hell happen to your hair?!" I exclaimed through laughs

He rolled his eyes, "Maddie wanted to touch my beautiful hair." He said while running his hand through his hair.

Maddie is his sister, who is the spawn of satan.

When his eyes landed on Nate, he pointed at him.

"Hey aren't you Clair's mate?" He asked while taking a huge bite from his apple. Where the hell did he get that apple from.

I quickly turned around just to see Nate's cheeks dark red as he nods his head.

"MATE! AS IN SOUL MATE! YOU'RE HER MATE!"  My eyes widen when I remembered Beth was here. Before I know it Beth pushes my away and pulls Nate into a tight embrace. I had to hold back the laugh that was threatening to come out. My poor Nate was standing still as Beth was hugging him tightly.

Feeling as if I should safe him, I quickly walked over to them and pulled Beth away from him and trust me that wasn't easy.

"Let him go Beth!" I shouted as I pulled on her waist. She shakes her head as she hugs him.

"No! He's adorable!" She yells as she tightens her hold on him.

"We have to feed you kiddo, you're to skinny." She mumbled against his stomach, I rolled my eyes.

"Beth let go before I tell Robin." And just like that she pulled away quickly.  She takes a few steps away from him and crosses her arms as she glares at me.

"You're no fun." She said as she pouted, I roll my eyes at her.

"I have to go, Robin said he needs me." She said as she looks down at her watch. She snaps her head toward Nate, a massive smile on her face.

"Nice meeting you, I hope we talk again." She waves goodbye and runs out of the kitchen.

I lets out a sigh and walked towards Nate, as I stood next to him I pointed at Nick.

"That's Nick, he's my Beta-" I was cut off my the idiot.

"And BEST FRIEND!" Nick yelled as he throws his Apple towards the trash can.
Nate lets out a growl as he hears Nick.

"Not anymore," he said angrily.

I heard Nick scoff, "Pu-lease she's mine Nate." He said as he waved his hand around.

I widen my eyes

OH MY GODDESS!

Nate let out a strong growl

"SHE IS MY MATE ! SHE IS MINE SHE BELONGS TO ME YOU IDIOT!" He yells, I widen my eyes. He WAS QUIET JUST A FEW MINUTES AGO.

Nick gasped, a dramatic gasp

"How dare you! I'm not an idiot! I just don't understand right away!" Nick exclaims.

I roll my eyes at him.

Nate grabbed me and settled me on his lap, he wraps his arms around me tight, to make sure Nick doesn't come close.

"She doesn't like you!" Nate said while sticking out his tongue.

Nick rolled his eyes at Nate's statement,

"She doesn't like you!" He exclaims.

Which made Nate scoff,

"I'm her mate she doesn't really have a choice" he said as he glares at Nick.

Getting a bit annoyed I look at Nick,

"Why were you looking for me?"

He widen his eyes, his eyes filled with realization.

"Oh yeah! Alpha Calvin called he said he wanted to talk to you right away," Nodding I tried to get up but Nate wouldn't let me go.

I look up at him and slowly asked him to let me go, he said

"I will never let go Rose," he said dramatically.

I giggled softly

"I love that movie! We have to see it!" I exclaimed.

He nods his head, "We can have a movie marathon!" I yelled happily.

He nodded again

Someone cleared their throat, loud.

"As much as I love watching you love birds, Clair we have to go." Nodding, I look at my mate and gave him my puppy eyes.

"Can you please let me go?" I ask him softly.

"Let me thing about it ....... no" he said with a small smile.

I pouted, "And why not?" I ask him.

He looks at Nate and glares, "Because you'll be with him." Nick rolls his eyes

"You can come of you like," I told him, my voice sounding happily.

He nodded as he slowly unwrapped his arms around me ( which I hated ) and walked towards my office.

Now I have to see what that little bitch named Calvin wants.
