"Astronomy Partners"

Chapter 7

Draco's POV

Why did I do that? I had to hurt her even more!! GOD DAMNIT!!!!!! When she looked at me, she looked so scared and hopeless. I'm so stupid, I like her and I hurt her.

After I let her go and onto the ground she was crying and when I told her to not be tough around me or she'll regret. All she did was nod scared. Then I walked away to the Great Hall and ate dinner.

Rachel's POV

I woke up at around 11:30pm and stretched, washed my face of the evidence of crying but my eyes are still Red and puffy, then went to wake up Sam and Karen.

" Hey guys get up we have astronomy." I said to both of them shaking them gently until they got up.

" What? Why do I have to get up?" Whispered/yelled Karen.

"We have astronomy in 20 minutes." I replied.

" Yay I can't wait." Yelled Sam.

"Shhhhh!!" Me and Karen said.

" Geezz ok."

While Sam and Karen got dressed I got my books and went into the common room to sit by the fire. Once they were done, we caught up with Harry, Ron, and Hermione on the way to the Astronomy tower.

" So Rachel, why didn't you come to dinner after you had to talk with professor Snape?" Karen asked me.

" Oh I wasn't----." I was interrupted by Malfoy bumping his shoulder hard into mine.

"Watch where your going Voychuk!" Shouted Malfoy, then he laughed along with his goons.

"Sorry." I whispered scared of what he'll do to me.

All he did was just nod and walk away. I felt a lot better when he did.

" He's so rude and obnoxious!!" Said Harry.

" I know he thinks he owns everyone!"yelled Sam.

"Guys it's ok let's go." I said.
We walked in the classroom and professor Sinistra  was standing in front of her desk, then started talking.

" Hello class my name professor Sinistra. In this classroom we will talk about the  names of stars and the movement of planets. We work in partners the whole year with the person I assign you next too. We will meet here every day at midnight. Now will you all please stand in the back while I assign you a seat."

Oh great I hope I'm not sitting by Malfoy.

"Rachel Voychuk and Draco Malfoy will you both please come sit up here." Said professor Sinistra while pointing to the table in the front of the class room.

I spoke too soon. I walked over to the table she was pointing to and sat down in the chair on the left. After that I looked over at Sam to see her looking at me with a sad smile. I didn't dare to look at him, still scared.

" Now remember just because we are partners doesn't mean I'm doing any work." Said Malfoy. His voice made me jump.

"Ok." I replied.

" Ok, class now that we all have partners you may chat quietly with your partner." Said professor Sinistra.
I glanced at Malfoy and just decided to not talk. He caught me glancing at him and glaring at me.
After about 30 minutes professor Sinistra decided to let us go early. Thank god I couldn't handle the silence and awkwardness. I got up and walked up to Sam, then Karen walked up and we went back to the Gryffindor tower. When we got to the dormitory I took off my robes and lied down trying to go back to sleep but I just couldn't stop thinking about a boy with piecing blue eyes.
