Chapter 11

Sam's POV

Around 6:00am I woke up and saw that Rachel was up as well.

"Why are you up?"

" I normally wake up around 6." Rachel replied.

"Oh, ok..." I said while getting up off my bed.

"So are you going to tell me what happened yesterday?" Rachel said while putting on her robes.

"Okay." I said and then started telling her about what happened with Malfoy.

" I hate Malfoy with a burning passion." Rachel said.

Around 6:15 we woke Karen up and started heading down to the common room to see if anyone else was up and ready to go down to breakfast. Karen came down from the dormitories and we headed to breakfast.

Rachel's POV

"Wait, hey guys I forgot my potions book!" I said and started heading back to the common room. "Don't wait up, I'll be fine." I added.

"Ok, we'll see you in a little bit." Said Karen.

I got to the painting with the fat lady with her pink dress, and said the password.

"Caput Draconis." She opened up and I run up to the girls dormitories and grabbed my potions book.
I started to head to breakfast again, and making sure I had all my books I need, while doing that I bumped into a hard surface. I looked up from the place where I fell from the fall, to see Professor Dumbledore.

"Sorry Professor Dumbledore I wasn't watching where I was going." I said.

"No it's ok, now what's your name?" Professor Dumbledore asked.

"Rachel Voychuk, sir."

"Well Rachel Voychuk shouldn't you be off to breakfast."

"Yes, sir I just forgot my potions book, so I had to go back for it." I replied.
I walked past Professor Dumbledore and made sure I was watching where I was going.

~time skip to breakfast~

"What took so long, Rachel?" Sam asked me as I sat down at the table.

"I kinda bumped in Professor Dumbledore." I replied.

"Really, only you Rachel." Sam said laughing.

"Hey shut up." I said laughing myself, then grabbing some food and eating.

~time skip to potions~

We all walked to potions covered in soot from Herbology and smelling like Professor Quirrell's candles. When we walked in Professor Snape said,

"Today we will be brewing Forgetfulness Potion, we will be working in partners, and I'll be picking them."

"Miss Voychuk with Mr Malfoy, Miss Whelan with Miss Parkinson, Mr Weasley with Mr Potter, Miss Granger with Mr Longbottom, Mr Finnigan with Mr Thomas, Miss Williamson with Mr Zibbini. You have until the end of class to brew the whole potion. The ingredients and directions are on the board and you know where to get the ingredients and start."
