Rachel's POV
I went to go get the ingredients, but Malfoy stopped me and said,
"No, no I got them, you start the fire."
"Oh... Ok." I said starting the fire under the cauldron.
Sam's POV
I look over to see Rachel starting the fire under the cauldron, and Malfoy getting the ingredients. Umm... that's new. Parkinson looked over at me and said,
"Well what are you waiting for, get the ingredients."
"I will, starts the fire then." I said back. I walked over to the table and grabbed what we needed.
Draco's POV
I grabbed the ingredients, and walked back to Rachel.
"Do you want to start?" I asked her.
"Oh, yeah ok." She replied. Rachel put 2 drops of Lethe River Water in the cauldron. Then let it heat for 20 seconds. She added 2 Valerian Sprigs, then stirred 3 times, clockwise. Rachel waved her wand over the cauldron.
"I'll do the next steps, if you want?" Rachel said.
"No, it's ok I got it." I replied. "Can you read me the directions."
"Sure... Add 2 measures of Standard Ingredient to your mortar. Add 4 Mistletoe Berries to your mortar. Crush into medium-fine powder using your pestle. Add 2 measures of your crushed mixture to your cauldron. Stir 5 times, anti-clockwise. Wave your wand to complete your potion."
I did everything she told me to and then Professor Snape came over.
"Very well, Miss Voychuk and Mr Malfoy. 10 points for both houses." Professor Snape said.
"Thank you, Professor." We both said in sync.
Karen's POV
"He seems to be in a good mood." I said to Sam over by me with Parkinson.
"Yeah, so does Malfoy." Sam replied.
"That will probably change." I said.
Professor Snape went around checking everyone's potion, and giving them good grades and points. The bell rang and everybody went out.
Rachel's POV
"Hey, Rachel can I talk to you." Draco asked.
"Ok." I replied. " It's ok guys, I'll be fine." I said to Karen, Sam, Harry, Ron, and Hermione.
"I just wanted to say, that I'm sorry about how I acted when we got detention. I deserved the slap and punch." Draco said looking at me straight in the eye.
"It's ok Draco, and I forgive you." I said walking away.
When I got back to the group, I got a lot of "What did he says?".
