What happend to dad?

Hazel's POV
As we sat on the ship the rest of the gang came and landed on the deck I started showing them around and then I noticed something and looked at Hiccup

"Hey, you never told me how-" I was going to ask about dad but stopped myself

"How what?" He asked as he looked at me

"How... You..." I said looking around then I saw his missing leg"How you lost your leg!" I said with relief

" oh yeah, well I was falling into a huge fire until toothless came and saved me from it but I guess he had to have some revenge on me I mean I accidentally got his tail cut off so he took off my leg." He said gesturing to Toothless

"Oh and sorry for shoving you out of my Toothless." I apologized and he immediately started licking me "Aw!! Gods the goes my outfit!"
I said as everyone burst in laughter and I got up

"So, shall we go to sleep, I mean it is almost night." (We'll just say the tour around the ship took up the rest of the day

"Yeah, sounds like a plan." Hiccup said and everyone agrees

"Alright Shira you can go to sleep I'll arrange everyone I said looking at Shira as she was about to fall on her face from her sleepiness

"*yawn* ok goodnight everyone." She said to everyone before she turned around and walked in to a wall and Amber pick her up and took her though the door to her room.

"Well, everyone can sleep up here or inside the boot below us." I said while gesturing

They all said "well stay up here, with our dragons." In unison and started picking places and laying down with their dragons

"Alright, I'm going to my room. Goodnight." I said leaving to my room
***1:00 a.m.***
I wake up and get up to go to the deck
Once I get there I immediately think about dad.
'I wonder what happened to him.' I thought
'Why did Hiccup start to cry when Dagur said, pathetic father?' My thoughts were interrupted by someone coming to me. I braced myself. They grabbed me shoulder and I grabbed there hand and twisted it to make them fall and I saw their face and I felt guilt

"Hiccup! I SOOO sorry! Are you ok?" I asked helping him up

"Yeah, you have a firm grip there." He said making eye contact, I smiled

"Yeah, well it comes in handy when your an assassin. You do know that I was an assassin, right?"

"Yeah, Shira told me."

"Good, so why are you up?"

"I saw up standing here, so I came to talk. You?"

"I needed air, so I came outside." I said heading to the rail that lets you see Berk directly

"Oh, so do you like Berk?" He said coming to the rail too, next to me

"Yeah it's really cool. But I need to ask you something."

"What is it?" He said looking at me

"What happened to..." I hesitated "dad?"

He started to turn away but I stopped him

"Please, tell me. He's my dad too, just tell me."

He hesitated but he told me

"Oh, Hiccup I'm so sorry, I-I'm sorry." I said hugging him with tears in mine and his eyes

"It's ok." But he fell to his knees as he hugged my stomach I cried in my hands (picture)
