I sit up in my bed, scratching my forehead before getting back to the messages popping up on my screen. I have Harmony messaging me about how her sex with Levi was the best ever and I have a random guy named Michael messaging me about how badly he wants to hook up with me.

Both not what I want to be hearing.

Even though Michael wasn't exactly saying he wants to hook up with me his wording clearly implies it. He began the conversation with a winky face which can never be good and he has pretty much ended every sentence with a heart.

Are guys seriously getting this desperate?

However on the other hand, Harmony is going into deep detail about how great his dick feels in her body and about how much she just wants to ride him all day. I know what Harmony definitely needs to ride.

A bus. To church. To learn about the lord and take her mind off her horny teenage ways.

Are girls seriously getting so desperate?

I shake my head with a signature eye roll as I slam my laptop shut not wanting to take another look at the names on the screen. I flop myself down on the bed looking over at the clock on my bedside table.

When is Ace going to call me?

I really want to spend tonight with him as this may be the last night I see him. I don't exactly want to go watch him beat up some pathetic child who thinks he's all tough but if Ace really wants to go fight than I guess as a supportive girlfriend I should watch.

I hate that term by the way.

Girlfriend.

Which pathetic loser came up with the term used to act as if a guy owns a girl? I am no feminist but whenever Ace calls me that I feel like property. I didn't mind when he called me his girl as I found that cute and actually kinda hot but when he says girlfriend, it just sounds so twelve year old.

I notice my phone rings on my bedside table and I leap up, grabbing it into my hands. I see the caller ID is Ace and I slam the phone against my ear.

"Hey babe," I mutter quietly down the line, not wanting to alert my parents. I had used the excuse that I had to complete some sudden catch up work for next year and I would be unable to do it in Hawaii and they ate it right up.

I bet they were honestly happy I was doing some work.

"Hey, I'm right outside your house, I got my dad's car so we are set!" He laughs, honking the horn and I can even hear it from inside my room.

"Fucking hell Ace!" I yell (softly) back at him, "You want to wake the whole neighbourhood it's nine thirty keep it down!"

"You live literally in the middle of nowhere!" He argues, and I can't lie, he is right.

"Hey, there are a couple of houses around, anyway, I'll see you down there!"

I hang up the phone and giggle as I slide out of my window, latching onto the tree outside. I have done this so many times that it has become natural. I scurry down the tree not even breaking a sweat and I slowly creep around my house to the front in which I see Ace's dad's car.

It was an old small rusty car that looks as though you could just kick it and it would fall apart but I guess it will work for what we are using it for. I jump round the side, tugging open the passenger door. I slide in and lay a long kiss on Ace's lips.

"You look ready?" I giggle, looking at him wearing his tracksuit pants and hoodie.

"All my stuff is under this, this car is like one hundred years old, it doesn't have no heating!" He revs the engine up which is as loud as anything and he drives off down the street.
