My groggy eyes open as I feel my tent begin to heat up in the sun. I am wrapped up in my sleeping bag which is now almost drenched in sweat.

What time is it?

I rise out of my sleeping bag and scurry myself out of my tent to notice Grayson sitting on a log by the bonfire we had last night.

It was beautiful. The red flames winding up into the night sky like snakes. It kept us warm as well as it the temperature dropped quite dramatically last night.

"Grayson," I groan, walking over to him, he turns to me with a cracker in hand.

"Yeah?" He replies with a mouthful of food.

"What time is it?" I rub my eyes as I look over at the sun and it's still quite early.

"Like, eight o'clock, I'm surprised you slept for so long, usually you get up early because of the sun," he nods.

"Well, the sun has got me dripping in sweat," I groan, knowing there is nowhere for me to take a shower.

I sludge back over to my tent and I quickly change out of my pyjamas and I put some shorts and a white singlet on. I walk back over to Grayson who has made me some little cracker sandwiches.

"These are cute," I say, taking a bite out of the small cheese cracker sandwich.

"There easy to make so they're great for short camps," Grayson nods, as he eats another one. "So, today, we can walk down at our own pace, we'll get back, maybe about eleven-ish, maybe twelve-ish."

"Sweet," I chime as I continue to eat the crackers.

There were about three other groups up here and they left one by one, some walking down different sides of the mountain but they would always come talk to us just before they leave.

Usually I would hate if they did that to me while I was by myself but it was nice this time. Nice to meet different people and to hear about who they are.

I pack up my tent in a matter of minutes as Grayson has already done his and I shove it all into my back pack. Grayson helps me to slide it onto my back and we begin to walk down the mountain.

It feels as though it only takes us about twenty minutes to reach the bottom but when Grayson checks his watch he notices that it took us about an hour and a half. Still faster than it took us to walk up the mountain.

I smile, as we finally reach the bottom, happy that I have achieved the hike, but also sad because now I had nothing else planned for the day.

"Okay, do you want me to take my tent and stuff, dad wants me back this afternoon because we have friends visiting us so I have to help prepare the house?" Grayson asks and I nod, pulling my bag off my back.

He scurries through my stuff, only grabbing what is his. My breathing hitches slightly as I realise that my clothes from yesterday are in there, and that includes a very little thing called underwear.

Luckily Grayson doesn't come across that type of garment and he suddenly goes off on his way, leaving me at the bottom of the mountain with a huge backpack and nowhere to go.

I guess back to my apartment.

I pull the bag up and eventually, after many efforts, get it onto my back. I walk down over to my apartment building and once I get there I take the elevator up to my room.

I step inside my room after having to rummage through my bag to find the keys to only realise that I put them in one of the outer pockets when I packed it yesterday.
