Deeks POV
Talia and I are sitting in a cafe, waiting for Kensi. We're at a table in the back corner. Things have pretty much gone back to normal between us.
And can I just say, I love the bickering these two do over me.
Though Kensi and I remain completely alert for any threats.
"Hey Deeks... You and Kensi are together aren't you?" Talia asks, biting her lip seductively.
Oh god, there's the Talia I know and don't particularly like.
"I can't see how it's any of your business."
"I do. So are you?"
I clench my jaw, frustrated. "Yes." I push myself up from the table, though I'm not planning on leaving.
"Do you love her?" She asks with a cheeky grin on her face as she stands too.
"Why do you want to know?" I find myself taking small steps backward, a useless movement as I'm backing myself up against the wall.
"I think you know why." As I move back Talia moves forward. Then I find her a few inches from me. I study her face, completely baffled to what's happening. "Answer the question."
"Yes, I love her."
"Aw, too bad."
Before I have time to compute what's happening, I feel a foreign pair of lips against mine, and feel disgusted and violated.
Then a sharp sting across my cheek. I open my eyes to realize it wasn't Talia who's now pulled away, who slapped me, but..
Oh god. Please no.
Kensi stands in front of me, eyes bloodshot and cheeks blotchy. She's biting her lip, but not seductively like Talia did before but like she's holding back the tears.
Ohhhhhh shit.
And as Kensi turns and storms away, I shove a smirking Talia out of the way to follow her.
