a short freewrite/one-shot/image/whatever you want to call this where Luna's cuddle continues with her two Daddies, Tom and Ben, and she tries a new type of tea.
Cheers, loves.

Luna roused a few hours later, blinking awake with a soft yawn. Right away, she felt, and knew, she wasn't in her bed, the mattress and blankets too large and different from her own bedroom, but, still, soft and much more comfortable. And, familiar.
Ridiculously familiar.
She was on her side, her knees slightly curled, fetal-like on her side. A pillow was tucked under her head, soft and lush. Sheets, warm and white and smelling faintly of two mixed colognes she knew well and belonged to her two caregivers, covered her, loosely draped over her petite frame. Two other blankets covered her, a deep plum fleece one, and a pastel blue and white swaddle blanket. With the sheets and blankets, warmth bundled her, safe and sound. It made her not want to leave, move, and stay there, tucked up for a very long time.
Luna nuzzled deeper into the pillow, letting out a soft content hum. Behind her, somewhere near, very near, a voice rumbled, low and familiar, and sleepy. "Hello, darling," the voice said — Tom — and she felt something, his arm looped over her waist, squeeze her affectionately. Luna shifted slightly, twisting to see him.
Tom, lounged out on his side of the bed and covered in the sheets, grinned at her, his blue eyes warm, crinkling. Luna blinked at him, staring. His grin widened slightly.
"Have a good snooze?" he asked.
Luna turned, shifting onto her other side so she was facing him. He loosened his arm to let her, tucking the blankets back over her when they slipped, covering her shoulders to keep her warm. She yawned, dropping her head back into the pillow.
"Sleepy still?"
Luna nodded, again yawning. Tom chuckled warmly and, leaning forward slightly, pressed a soft kiss to her head, air light. Luna scooted closer and he chuckled fondly when she pressed her face against his chest, nuzzling him. He kissed her again, humming.
"You can sleep a little longer, darling," he whispered. "I have you. Daddy's got you."
For a while after that, nothing happened, the minutes passing by. Tom held Luna close and Luna laid there, not falling back asleep, not completely, but simply there, drifting between the world of the sleeping and light consciousness. She didn't think of much, didn't worry, but relaxed, let herself savor her warm cocoon, Tom nearby, holding her securely. Every few moments, he gave her another soft kiss, a reminder, a physical anchor, that she wasn't alone. He was there and she was safe.
Daddy has you.
Eventually, she realized something, that something wasn't going tap, tap, tap.
"Did it stop?" she asked, her voice slightly muffled with her face still in his chest, snuggled close.
"What stopped, my heart?"
"The rain."
"Ah," Tom said. "It did. Stopped a little bit ago, love. But, it's still overcast. Might rain more later."
Luna leaned away, and he let her as she pushed herself upright. She looked towards the window, where the curtain was pushed open slightly, letting in a grey strip of light. From what she could see, the outside looked very overcast and dreary still, and that yes, it could very much rain later. This rainy day wasn't over yet.
