I walk out of the shadows towards the other ninja. "So we're just waiting on Jay and (Y/N)," "Yeah," "Is it just me or was this mission like really easy?" "Yeah it was," A weak voice started speaking on the comm. "Guys...They were expecting us," It was faint and struggled, but distinctly (Y/N)'s voice. We stood silently waiting for more, when her signal went dead with static. The image of when we first found her started to fill my head. Her pale body hanging limp, her thin wrists cutting into the shackles. The cuts from self-harming herself beginning to leave crimson stains through her dirty, torn clothes. Her (h/l) (h/c) plastered to her face, some of it with dry blood. I instantly felt all the color drain from my face. Everyone exchanged worried looks before we took off into the night.

We followed the GPS tracking signal to the warehouse she was at before we lost her signal. It was the creepy warehouse where the kids from Darklies always messed around. Seeing the door open we slip through entering a dimly lit room. Cole signals us to split up and search for (Y/N). I pulled out my katana, created a small energy ball in my hand to light my way. A strange feeling came over me, like someone was watching my every move. I turn to peer into the shadows. As my eyes scanned the darkness, not seeing anything I still had the sense that I was staring it straight in the face. Dispersing my energy ball, I let the darkness surround me. I closed my eyes, focusing on the darkness. I sensed the form moving the darkness. I felt my brow crinkle as I strained to pick up a sound of any kind. Whatever it was it obviously had years of hard training. I was usually about to pick up on the guys when we were training, but I was getting absolutely nothing. I stood patiently in the darkness as the mystery stalker started to circle me. I tensed when I felt it stop circling me. I tighten the grip on my blade. Out of the darkness a sudden rush of wind moved my bangs. I snapped my eyes open, bringing my free hand up creating enough energy to start the warehouse lights back up. The figure was flying at me midair, it's foot aiming at my head. Dropping my katana, I grab their leg, and swing them over my head before slamming them into the ground. The figure groaned as it tried to get up. The figure had a slimming, bright purple gi on. They staggered to their feet, supporting themselves against the wall with their arm. I pick my katana back up, when they straighten their posture and turn to me. I tensed up again as they brought their hand up and lifted the hood off their face. Before me stood a girl about (Y/N)'s age with long wavy black hair and stunning purple eyes. She smiled at me and...bowed. "Wu has trained you well green ninja." I opened my mouth to respond, but I couldn't form the words so it ended up just making me look like a fish gasping for air. Faint footsteps came up behind me, but I didn't let my eyes leave the girl. "Lloyd have you found any signs of (Y/N)-! Who is that!!" Cole runs up next to me. "Not sure just found her myself." She sticks out her hip, placing a hand firmly on it. "Oh, sorry. Probably should have introduced myself. I'm Zoe Wishful." The others come up next to Cole and I. "How do you know my Uncle?" "Oh yeah, probably should have explained that at the beginning." she says rubbing the back of her neck sheepishly. "But that's going to have to wait, we need to save (Y/N)." Nya glared at her, an eyebrow arched suspiciously. "Wait, how do you know (Y/N)?" Zoey sighed, turning her gaze to the floor. "I...we have a history together." She flipped on her hood, still avoiding our gazes. "I was able to get a tracker on the serpentine's van...a-as they sped o-off with her." Her voice breaking at the end of her sentence. She sniffed and a tear falling onto the hard floor. I place a hand on her shoulder. "Don't worry. We'll find her, but we're gonna need your help." She wiped her teary eyes and straightened herself out. "I'll do anything it takes to get (Y/N) back." She suddenly gasped, pulling out her phone. Kia groaned, "I don't think now's the time to be checking your texts." She shot him a glare before tapping away at her phone. "I plant little spy orbs all over Ninjago, a couple of them are placed here. Some of them picked up some of the action, but there is something that doesn't make sense." She pulls up the footage on a particular orb. She fast forwarded the video and paused it on a girl with blonde hair and green eyes...just like mine. I stared at the picture, when I was turned and Cole held the phone next to my face. "W-what are you guys doing?" Cole shushed me. Kia came up next to him. Both of them glancing between the phone and my face. "I have run some scans between the two and they do share many physical features." Nya and Zoey joined Cole and Kai. I was beginning to shift nervously under all their gazes. "We need to get to Sensei Wu now." Cole handed Zoey back her phone, which she pocketed into the folds of her gi. We all raced back to the Bounty as fast as we could.

Zoey P.O.V.

I step onto the deck of the Destiny's Bounty. I tried to remain professional like Sensei had taught me. but so many emotion were running through my head. I was so excited to see Sensei Wu again. It had been so long since I left to try to have a normal life, which didn't work like I had expected. I follow the ninja down below and through some halls until we stopped in front of a set of sliding doors. The black ninja gently rapped on the woodwork, "Sensei, there is someone we think you need to meet," I had to cover my mouth to stifle my giggles. Well it wasn't their fault they didn't know my background. "Enter," The ninja opened the doors and walked into a very spacious room, and there sitting cross legged on the floor in the center of the room, was my Wu. He used a bo staff to help him get to his feet. he looked up, his eyes locked with mine. "Zoey?! What are you doing here my child?" Not being able to hold it back anymore I stifled a sob and ran to Wu, wrapping my arms tightly around him. "W-wu, I missed you s-so much," He returned my embrace, hugging me in the strength I had missed for so many years. "I think we need some tea." He pulled back from our sweet embrace, giving me that all to familiar crinkled eye smile. He brought his arm around my shoulders leading me out of the room and down the hall into a cozy kitchen. We sat next to each other on the benches. The ninja soon entered the room, many of their expressions baffled or confused. They soon joined us, everyone now having a cup of something to drink because apparently I wasn't the only one that disliked Wu's tea. I sat with my hands cupped around a mug of warm milk. I sighed contently, it felt like old times. As if I had never left. Finally the red ninja spoke up, "Soo...Care to explain what's going on?" I nodded, taking a swig of milk before setting it on the table. "This may come as a shock to you, but you five weren't Wu's first pupils. Well, before I get into that I guess I should explain my story. When I was little my parents didn't want me, so I spent the first years of my life at an orphanage until I ran away when I was five after...an incident. So I wandered the streets. One day I was at the park and I came across a man sitting on a bench drinking tea. He had his eyes closed, but asked me to join him. We sat on the bench still the sun started to set. He turned to me, asking if he wanted him to walk me home. I didn't really know how to answer his question so we stood there in silence. But what he did next, changed my life forever. He reached down and took my hand and said, "Everyone has a home, some just take longer to find it," He took me in and trained me to be a ninja. He said I was learning at an inhuman rate, reaching my full potential by the time I was eight. But Wu saw a vision, that my place was not here. I eventually left to live with a foster family, who then later adopted me. I tried to adjust to having a normal life, but it wasn't working out too well. So I continued to train at a local dojo. I was finally getting used to things when we moved, leaving my best friend in the whole world, (Y/N)."
