chapter 5- the plan.

Friday 11th September 2015

Jack's POV

The day has finally arrived that I surprise Elsa by showing up at her house! I can't wait to see her face as she opens the door to see me stood outside. OK, so the plan is, at 3:30 I will walk down to her house, I'll say "Hi Elsa, I saw you lived here, I think you dropped this?" I will hand her the paper and she'll say "It's not mine." I will apologize and she'll invite me in! After a few weeks I'll invite her to the Glitter ball dance, I can hardly wait!

-----time skip (3:20PM)-----

Elsa's POV

Finally, the school week is over! I don't have to see anyone but Anna for a whole two days. It's going to be-

*knock knock*

"Anna! Kristoff's here!"

"Oh, I'm coming!!!" Anna runs down the stairs while putting her earrings on and slipping her shoes on

"Hey Kris- Who are you?!"

I walk to the door seeing as the door's still open. Anna always forgets to close the door. It's sooo annoying!

"Anna close the-" I pause in my steps and stare at the door.

"Ah, that's who I'm looking for!" 

Anna giggles and runs upstairs.

"J-Jack? What are you doing here?" How does he know where I live?!

"I just came to give you this. I think you dropped it?" He hands me a neatly folded piece of paper.

"N-No, it's not mine, sorry." 

"Oh, no I'm sorry. This is quite awkward." He giggles. 

"No no, it's fine. Well bye then!" I close the door and watch him walk out the drive way 

Wait, I open the paper again. This is Jack's homework! I run after him.

"Jack! This is your homework!"

He turns around "Oh yeah, sorry."

"What are you playing at? You obviously knew this wasn't mine."

"weeellll-"

"You know what, it doesn't matter. See you on Monday, Jack" I start walking inside until I feel his arm grab mine, he pulls me back.

"I'm sorry. I just wanted you to like me, I thought this was a good way for you to get to know me a bit better." He starts to turn bright red.

"Why don't you come in." He smiles and walks in with me.

We head inside and sit on the couch. I start flicking through the channels on the TV. Until he says stop. I stopped the TV.

"How about we work on that assignment we had. Ya know the music one?" 

I just shrug and guide him upstairs and into my room. I'll sing and he'll play the keyboard. Before we start, we write the lyrics down and all the notes, we decide to write a song about how you don't have to conceal your fears, I think Jack picked that so he could send a hint. I start to sing and get too carried away. I fall to the floor and sob, Jack jumps onto the floor and wraps his arms around me. I start telling him I can't trust anyone and if anyone gets close to me , it always ends up with them leaving me.

"Elsa, all those people, were stupid for letting you go. They probably don't know what an amazing girl you actually are. If it were me I-"

"But I'm not like you! I'm different in ways you wouldn't understand! That anyone would understand! I- I just one someone to understand me. To know my secret and defend me when everyone else won't. I just want a friend" I cry even more

"I'll be that friend, Els. I'll keep your secrets, be a shoulder to cry on. Be a good friend. Anything you have to throw at me, I can take it."

I sit there for a while. Can I trust him? Would he run and hide like the others if I tell him my secret? Would he like it and understand it? AHHHH! I don't know who to trust and who to stay away from. Maybe if I show him, he'll like it?
