"Thank you. It means a lot, I swear the fucking teacher doesn't know how to explain shit." The guy said, he reached back, stretching for a moment as the two were sitting in uncomfortable chairs.
"Glad I could help."
Felix said.
He began standing up.
But he was quickly pulled back down.
"Hey.. wait— um."
Felix just looked at the guy.
"Are you doing anything after this?"
"No, why?"
"Are you hungry?"
He asked.
"Yeah but I don't really have alot of money."
"That's fine we can eat here, I can make us something." The guy said. He was really sweet honestly.
"Okay! That sounds good!" Felix smiled. He could see the relief on the other man's face. The man gently stood up, a smile on his face as he got the approval from Felix himself.
"Okay, what would you like?"
"Anything.. I'm not picky."
Felix responded nicely.
Felix opened his dorm room, shutting it gently as it was late at night when he returned. He felt pretty good about that night. The guy he was classmates with was so nice. He genuinely felt different about the interaction.
"It's late."
Felix heard.
He jumped out of fear. He noticed htunjin sitting on the couch.
"I'm aware."
Felix responded tiredly.
He was almost sick of hyunjin.
"Felix could you just give me another chance? I know you said you would think about it but— I don't want to lose you."
Felix could smell the liquor that was against hyunjins breath. He rolled his eyes and kept walking.
"I'm going to bed hyunjin."
He ended it there. Opening and slamming his door shut. Yet hyunjins fist just balled against his side in frustration. He couldn't bear to imagine Felix doing anything with that guy.
Jeongin stared at his phone, looking at the messages. He had scrolled through each and every one Chan had sent him.
He wanted so badly to try one more time but he knew it wasn't possible.
He saw Chan with someone else today. It wasn't shocking. He knew he shouldn't have jumped to conclusions but they seemed really fond of each other.
He couldn't help but think about everything they've went through and did.
"Fuck..." Jeongin mumbled. He rolled his eyes at the fustration. He had school work he needed to get done. He shouldn't be worried about this.
He shut his phone immediately paying attention to his computer screen. He was in the library getting extra credits so he could finish school earlier.
"Hey, what are you working on?"
Jeongins breath hitched as he noticed Chan sit down infront of him.
"Oh.. um.. I was just trying to get some extra work done." Jeongin said. Why does Chan only come when he's least wanted?
"Could I study next to you? I don't see anyone else I know here."
Jeongin bit his lower lip, adjusting his seat really fast to get more comfortable.
"Yeah. Of course."
Chan nodded, he reached into his bag, pulling out his computer and setting it gently on the desk to not disturb other people who were working hard.
Jeongin wanted to ask the question so bad. He just sighed.
"So how are you and your little friend?"
"Hm?" Chan hummed.
"That guy you were with. He was cute."
"Ah, that's just my lab partner."
Chan chuckled.
"Oh, okay."
Jeongin said.
He for some reason felt like weight was released from his shoulders.
"I was just curious." Jeongin said softly. He just looked back down to his work. Now avoiding Chans eyes in embarrassment.
"That's okay." Chan said.
"Um Jeongin."Chan began to say, it caused him to glance up. "What are you doing tonight? There's a party."
"Well I have to study."
Jeongin said.
"Come on, just come with me."
"Chan."
"Just this once. I'll never ask you to go again. There's drinks!" Chan smiled. He wiggled his eyebrows attempting to persuade Jeongin.
"Fine! I'll go. Only if you drive me so I won't have to do drive."
"Well just get a uber." Chan backed up. A chuckle.
Great, now Jeongin was going to be around his ex and alcohol.
What could go wrong?
