Her eyes were cold.
Her heart was made of gold.
Her wings were strong.
Her will was stronger.
Even with all the right things in mind,
They did such wrong to her.
Whatever had she been through,
They couldn't have known.
So was it really their fault?
Was it really that harmful?
They thought not.
They thought wrong.
A war had fallen between the two worlds.
They called it the gold and the silver.
Ironic they thought,
When the gold had wings of silver.
Though silver they were not.
Just a simple layer of soot,
Over what seemed to be the ever lasting golden diamond.
The golden diamond she was.
For it didn't exist.
The life she tried to hold onto didn't exist.
So didn't it make that much more sence,
For them to be the good guys.
No, no, no. You thought wrong.
For the life she tried to hold on to was the normal,
The opposite of what you might think.
They're thinking was opposite,
Because of the unknown normal thinking she had,
Yet they thought it was right,
To leave her lying in the blood stained bed of white.
They thought it was right,
To steal the golden diamond,
From the living,
From the Earth.
They thought wrong.
