Chapter 1

CHAPTER 1

"Wake up RiRi!! It's moooooorning!!" A loud voice trilled in my ear.

I instantly waved my arms around to try to make the voice shut up. Sadly, I failed in my task. Two big hands grabbed my wrists, successfully stopping me from making any harsh contact with the voice's owner.

"Oi! Watch it sis! You could end up doing some serious damage to this gorgeous face!!" The voice said once again.

"That was kinda the point Ash..." I grumbled back. "Now get off of me!!"

I managed to free one of my hands from under the large amount of mass that was still sitting on me that I'd like to call my brother, then I punched him in the arm. It's not like it was a very hard punch or anything, but he still managed to whine and cuss me out anyways.

"Don't be a baby. You'll be fine. Why'd ya wake me up anyways? You should know better than that."

He had rolled off of me during his tantrum, and was now laying down next to me. Ashton is my twin brother. He's older than me by 12 minutes, and he never let me forget the fact that I am technically his 'baby' sister. I say that's bull crap. I'm way more mature than he is!!....usually. Ashton and Averi Irwin. (Ash and RiRi for short) We are two of the biggest trouble-makers that anyone could meet. We've be creating havoc and chaos ever since we learned to crawl. So far...it has been a good 18 years, a life well lived.

"The guys are coming over soon to hang out. I figured you would want to have me wake you up rather than the four of us."

"Awww Ashie!! That was so sweet of you!" I cooed at him. It was such a sweet thing for him to do, and very out of character for him. I leaned over and kissed his cheek...right before he ruined the moment.

"Plus you really should shower before we let anymore of the human race get anywhere near you. You stink."

Moment ruined.

That sounded much more like the brother I knew, and for some reason still unknown to me, loved. So being the loving sister that I was, I shoved him off of my bed and onto the floor with a satisfying thud.

"Oww! Damn you Averi! You know that I'll still love you no matter how much you resemble Bigfoot in the morning! So, what was that for??" He yelled back at me

I dumped the rest of my water that I had sitting on my bedside table onto his head in response.

"Argh! Fine!! I'm sorry! You're right. That was rude. I shouldn't have insulted Bigfoot like that....you look much worse in the morning."

I wasn't prepared for that insult, because for some stupid reason I'd thought he was actually apologizing. So unfortunately, he had time to run out of my room before I could launch anything at him.

"I hope you step on a Lego!!" I shrieked at him.

"You have 15 minutes Averi! I wouldn't waste anymore time. Trust me, you'll need all of it!" He yelled back to me with a loud chuckle.

Ugh....brothers.

It isn't very difficult to know when the boys arrive at our house. It's the same disruption every time to alert us of their arrival. First there is a flurry of loud knocks on our door, and then it is swung open to reveal three psychotic boys. You hardly have a chance to see them however, because they run in screaming their heads off.
