As the next day arrived she found herself sitting in the living room just looking towards the flowers on the table in front of her. She had no idea what the time was or for how long she had been sitting there admiring the beauty of the flowers. She picked up the little card once more that day and read the few words written on it 'I hope you're feeling better again' as she squeezed the card in her hand she closed her eyes and took a deep breath. He had always been there for her when she needed a friend at least she could thank him for the flowers. She picked up her phone and decided to text him, she took a picture of the flowers standing on the table and wrote

Cam: Thank you so much for these! They are beautiful. Was your offer still open for you to show me this city or should I just get lost by myself?

Still not removing her gaze from the flowers the world around her seemed to move along in a normal pace as her and the flowers were only moving at half pace. After not knowing for how long she had been staring into the pretty colours of the flowers she heard a soft knock on the door, as she got up and moved towards the door she realised she had no memory of how she got up this morning, if she have had breakfast and lastly how she even got dressed. As she opened the door slowly her eyes met a set of almost to familiar hazel brown eyes and a big smile, "okay let's go then" Joey said as he sent her one more big smile, "wait why were you here so fast? Are you stalking me or something?" Cam asked a bit confused as she was still standing in the door, "fast? What are you talking about Cammi? I answered you like 2 hours ago? Are everything okay?" still a bit confused she sent him a smile as she mumbled, "yeah, yeah, I'm fine" as the two of them started walking down the garden she felt the heat from the sun hug her. They walked together towards the city, she always were amazed of just how beautiful this city were, Chicago were nothing like her little town back home, where everyone knew everyone, she knew that's how it had always been and probably always gonna be.

As they turned a corner she noticed a tall building and it seemed like they were heading in the same direction as the building. As they turned the last corner another one of his quirky smiles spread on his face as he pointed towards the building and said, "and this my young apprentice is the sky tower. Now come on I gotta show you this really cool thing, unless you're afraid of heights" she could feel how her stomach turned by the thoughts of height, she wasn't afraid of heights it was more like terrified to death because of heights, but something in her made her squeeze his hand a bit as she said, "you can call me many things Richter but not one who's afraid of heights" he pulled her in and placed a small kiss on her cheek only to pull her after him inside the tower. All the way through the entrance and in the elevator they were just being together holding hands. None of them said anything. As they got out at the top level they walked over to one of the glass floors, for the first time since they left the house Joey let go of her hand to walk alone out on the glass floor. He stretched out his hand as he said "well I guess you wouldn't mind joining me out here I mean unless you really are afraid of heights" she could feel how she became more and more uncomfortable the longer he stood on what appeared to be nothing more than a thin piece of glass, 'come on Cam you can do this, after all it's build so people can be out there, nothing is gonna happen' 'don't do it the glass will break and you will fall straight to down to your own death' her brain screamed inside her head, as she reached out for his hand to pull him back and tell him how she truly felt about the whole thing, a small group of kids ran past her on pushed her onto the glass. Before she knew it she was standing on the glass high up over Chicago, in his arms. She looked up into his hassle brown eyes, as their eyes met a smile on both of their faces spread. For a short cut in time she completely forgot about her fear of heights and the fact that they were standing on a glass floor high up over Chicago. As the little room started to fill with more and more people the two of them walked back into the hard surface of the tall building. They started walking around the top floor truly enjoying the look this place gave them over Chicago, as they turned the last corner it felt like her whole world froze and as if they turned that corner in slow motion. Out of the corner of her eye she saw the one person she was ready to give up her whole life for, the person she had fallen head over heels for, the one person she was sure was done hurting her, but there he was standing out on one of those little platforms things, showing his tongue down her throat. Cam did her best as she calmly walked right pass the scene, it wasn't until they were out of view she slowly let go of Joey's hand and sank down closer and closer to the floor as she felt how her tears started to build up. Shortly after she felt Joey pull her in as he softly whispered, "it's okay let it all out, you don't have to talk about it if you don't want to, just let it all out" she let go of her tears and the waterfall started. As she ran out of tears she felt how Joey removed the last ones from her cheeks as he said, "so is this something you wanna talk about or?" without really think her answer over, she started talking almost as if a bubble had burst and then the words just flew out of her mouth, "it all started when I got to this stupid town, I bumped into this guy at the airport who tried to steal my cab, me being me I let him ride along with me because apparently we were going to almost the same place, he ended up giving me his number because he thought I needed a friend since I was new to this stupid town, after some time I did the stupidest thing anyone could, I fell for him, he even took me to Twisted remember? You were there and so was everyone you guys even warned me about him dating this stupid Devon person. Now at that point I really didn't believe you guys at all because I was falling deeper and deeper in love with this guy. Now that night he ended up ditching me in the middle of the parking lot because she apparently were back in town, you remember how lost I was later when you saved me from truly embarrassing myself after I saw him kiss her at that pizza place. Then later you guys invited me to that party and I really thought it was gonna be great and to tell you the truth I was having the best time ever until he showed up and told me he loved me and he kissed me, I told him that he shouldn't be saying that when I knew he were dating someone else, and I ended up saying goodbye and I didn't wanted to see him ever again. It went on all the was to yesterday when I woke up by a knock on the door and out on the front porch were a packet with this cute little dress and an address to show up on. I did it and when I got there some stranger handed me a ticket for a show, and after the show I got another address of a restaurant, it turned out that he was behind it all and I really thought he meant everything because there he was talking me out. I thought he had left her and all but then you and me come here and we turn that corner" she pointed in the direction where she had seem them and then continued "I see him with his tongue down her throat, once more I felt like his just playing around with me" as she finished she once more hid her face in his chest. He started carefully to stroke her hair as he said, "if you want me to I can go yell at him if it makes you feel any better?" she carefully shook her head as she felt how he let go of her and started to stand up. As he got up he looked down at her and mumbled "I have to" and by that he started walking in the same direction as AJ and Devon. Afraid of what was about to happen Cam pulled her legs up even closer to her chest. She sat there looking out over Chicago as the sun made the sky darker and darker, she could hear the mumbling voices and see the feet of people all around her.
