Chapter 15

I cried for another good five minutes just hoping that Lucas wouldn’t wake up and catch me. I needed something for Louis something to show that I was thinking about him and the others before I make the decision and swallow these pills. I walked out of the room and grabbed a sharpie as quietly as I could. I quickly walked back to the bathroom and started writing everyone’s names on my wrist. I then turned off the lights and had a quick moment of silence where I said my prayer.

I heard footsteps in the hall coming closer to the bathroom from the bedroom. I closed my eyes and put the pills in my mouth all at once.

“Hannah!! Oh my god Hannah!” Kenny said as she ran in the bathroom as I was about to let the pain go away. She had a couple of bruises around the face and blood dripping on the side of her mouth. She ran over to me and saw the pill bottle next to me on the floor.

“Oh hell no!” she screamed as she puckered my lips and the pills came pouring out of my mouth.

I just sat there and cried while Kenny embraced me. I couldn’t ponder what was going on. I don’t know if I was dead or a miracle really just happened.

“C’mon you gotta see what I did to Lucas’ so called face,” she said as she helped me up and walked me out.

I passed by the bedroom and saw Lucas lying on the wood floor with blood coming from his face and head. He also had what looked like a broken arm and leg. Kenny and Ava really knew how to beat people up.

“Hannah! Did you see what me and Kenny did to him we kicked his ass!” Ava screamed as she stood by Lucas watching his every move. I just nodded and followed Makenna out the door to where the cops and ambulance were now parked and rushing around.

I passed by Louis as he was being interviewed by the cop. I was in so much emotional pain I didn’t know what was happening so I went along with what the officers told me.

Louis’ P.O.V.

I ran after Hannah screaming her name. I was so glad she was ok and untouched. We had gotten there just in time, but something was odd she wasn’t turning around. I spinned her around and engulfed her into a hug. She immediately went from being silent to balling in my shoulder. She held on to me tight while she cried.

“I love you Hannah! I don’t want you to ever leave my side again,” I said as I squeezed her.

“I’m sorry,” is all she could manage to say.

“For what Hannah you did nothing?!” I replied sympathetically.

“He…..I had sex with him…..” she whispered. I went into shock as the ambulance took her and started examining her. She was crying but responding.

Tears formed in my eyes. I was pissed off that son of a bitch needed to be dead. Him being in a comma wasn’t enough for me. I ran into the house where the officers were standing and talking. I went to the back bedroom as I stood above him and lifted my first for the final punch.

“Don’t Louis. We all want to, but do you want to spend more time away from Hannah and Cade because you went to jail, or help her through this and watch Cade grow up,” Zak said standing behind me. I backed away and sat in the kitchen.

Hannah’s P.O.V.

Once I was released and arrived home I went straight to the bathroom to just ponder my thoughts and relax. I couldn’t be with everyone right now. I couldn’t look any of them in the eyes after what I had done. It was my fault I didn’t fight back hard enough to make Lucas stop. I kept reliving everything in my head.

I walked over by the timer and looked down at the pregnancy test and all I saw was a sign that looked like this ---, the baby was gone.
