Felix sandman and the mysterious girl

Chapter 5

  Recap: She glances down guiltfully and slowly bring her eyes back up to mine, looking nervous. "I guess I haven't been a very good sister, huh."

My mind just froze. So many years of thinking that I didn't have any other family and now suddenly my sister shows up on my door step. I don't even know how to act around a sister, or anyone really.

Luna seemed to be on the same page, "I know I'm dumping a boatload of information on you right now, I can give you some time to think of you want."

I looked over, she looked really guilty, even though none of this was her fault, and quite awkward. She seemed to be just as lost about having a sister as I was, maybe more. I felt a bit sorry for her. A girl she had no idea existed is now apparently her sister, our father is on trial and she left in a position she has no idea how to be in.

" I'm alright Luna, you can stay if you want"

Hope bloomed on her face when I said that. It was a sight to see, through all the guilt, awkwardness and sadness that one sentence made her eyes brighter, she was beautiful.

" If you really want me to, I would love to stay!" She exclaimed.

Still giving me a choice. I smile at her. She treats me fairly, letting me share my opinion, delivering the news gently and letting me digest it before I move on.

Luna smiles back, "There is actually a concert down town, if you want to go."

Again, giving me a choice.

"Sure, I'll come."

We walk down together and see the huge crowd gathered to watch whoever is performing. We stay by the back at first, I wouldn't want anyone from school to see me, but we gradually move up to see better.

I know this band, I recognize it from somewhere. I just can't remember where.

We finally get to the very front, hearing the music better. The one singing at the moment turns around and I freeze as we make eye contact. Adrenaline hits me, my eyes widen and I flat out sprint my way out of the crowd. People jump out of my way and I fire down the street.
