Felix sandman and the mysterious girl

Chapter 7

Recap:I take in a sharp breath "What did you say?"
She mumbles something incoherently.
"I didn't catch that"
"I said I LOVE YOU Felix"

Violet P.O.V

I can't believe I just said that. I just told freaking Felix Sandman that I loved him. He obviously doesn't like me back, he has insulted me everyday for the past three years. Now I'm just going to have to face it, he hates me.

I look over at his face, his mouth is open and its been that way for a while. It's almost as if he's trying to catch flies. Though I can detect a hint of a smile somewhere on his face, probably just laughing at how pathetic I am.

Just as the thought to run away crosses my mind, Felix closes his mouth and turns toward me with an unfathomable expression. I brace myself for the million insults I'm about to get, actually recoiling into the wall I'm sitting against. When he crouches so we're at the same height, leans in, and presses his lips to mine.

I'm shocked.

I am so shocked that I don't even respond.

Felix P.O.V

I can't believe she told me she loved me.

It caught me completely off guard at first, I'm pretty sure I looked like an idiot. Sitting there with my mouth open like that. I'm smooth.

Then came amazement, followed by happiness. I can't believe it. Violet, the girl I've loved for three years, the girl I've tried to protect as long as I've known her, is the same girl who just professed her love for me.

I really do love her. The way she remains strong after all she has been through, how she never complains, that even though I've done so many horrible things to her she still acknowledges that I have feelings and doesn't stoop to my level. I like her smile, it's like the sun on a rainy day, I like the way her eyes are the exact colour of a moonlit lake and how they seem to see right through me.

That is what makes me lean in and kiss her.

At first she doesn't respond, she's shocked obviously, and probably confused but soon she was kissing me back.

Violets P.O.V

When he pulls away, I just sit there, confused. He must be possessed or something. Yeah, that makes sense.

Felix stands up, smiling brightly, and looks straight into my eyes. "Violet, I love you too."
