I was frightened of the three men standing in my room, but I wasn't going to show it. I am the Earl of Woodford's daughter after all, I have my pride. Taking a deep breath I schooled my features into annoyance instead of the fear that was taking root in my body.

"Who are you? You are not a part of the staff here." No answer the men just stared at me. "What is your purpose here in my room?" Still no answer. "Answer me." I stomped my foot trying to look regal, which was difficult to do considering I am in my nightgown, with nothing covering my feet.

My heart skipped a beat, when the three men smiled at her. The youngest looking man looked at the oldest. "She must think she is a Queen, Capitan."

             Pirates!

My heart started to pound. "Do you know what a Queen needs Regina?"

How do they know my name? The thought barely passed her mind before the Capitan took a few steps towards me, demanding an answer to his question. Holding my ground, I straightened my spine not willing to back down. "King, a Queen needs a King." I answered, looking into the cold eyes of the Capitan.

"That is correct, Regina." He clapped his hands softly.

I tried to keep the shock off of my face from hearing my name again. "H-how?" I didn't know how to ask, the fear I am feeling is starting to overwhelm me.

"We have been watching you for a while now." He let that sink in.

My hand found its way to the high neck of my gown, where my fingers gripped the soft cotton fabric. "You see...we are in need of some money and you are just the young lady to give it to us."

"I have no mon...wait no! You can't, that will break my father's heart. I will not allow you to ransom me off." I all but shouted at the men.

They laughed. "There is nothing you can do about it and you know it." The Capitan's wicked smile chilled me to the bone.

     "No." slipped from my lips.

"Hmm...I believe that you will be difficult so Rafe," He waved his hand at the youngest man, "will be your King, my little Queen."

I cannot believe what I am hearing. I don't know what to do, I can barely think.

"Jean tie her up, while I write the note, and Rafe packs his Queen some clothing." I thought of my father and I know what I have to do. I have to cooperate for him, I didn't want to but I have to. We just lost my mother to childbirth, he didn't need to lose his only daughter to pirates, all because I fought back.

But when Jean started to tie my hands together, I just reacted. My swung through the air and my hand connected with his face with a loud smack, and then my knee rammed itself in between his legs. I didn't wait to see what happened, I just took off running for the door. I was forced to the carpeted floor by a large body, before my fingers could touch the knob. It took me a second to start fighting against the weight of the man on top of me.

I was flipped over, the one called Rafe pinned me down. "Where did you learn to knee a man?" he asked, looking at Jean gasping for breath, and holding himself. There was a small smile playing across his face, I had to fight the smile tugging at my lips.

Rafe looks down at me, I couldn't contain the gasp that rushed passed my lips. Rafe's vivid, teal blue eyes bore into my honey colored ones. His eyes are the most beautiful eyes that I have ever seen, they are surrounded by thick, dark eyelashes, which I was jealous of even in this situation. I don't want to admit to myself that he is one of the most beautifully handsome man I have ever met, with his straight nose, broad forehead, high cheek bones, and a square jaw. He was starting to make my heart pound, but not from fear.

          What is wrong with me?

His short, thick black hair fell over his forehead, making me want to touch it. His tan skin seemed soft, but I can feel callouses on my arms where his hands gripped me. For the first time in my life I feel attraction, he is nothing like all the boys who are paraded in front of me. I don't like it.

He is helping to kidnap me! I yelled at myself.

I want to cry, kick and scream, but with Rafe's weight crushing her to the carpeted floor it was hard enough to breathe.

"Well?" He asked, searching my face for something.

"Well Sir!" I grit my teeth at the small smirk that showed his dimples. "I have many talents, but one of them isn't being able to breathe whilst a large man is crushing me!" I wheezed out.

Rafe's smirk grew. "There is that better?" He smugly asked.

He barely supported his weight on his arms. His hands tightened on my arms, I am going to bruise.

"No it isn't better. I want you to release me and remove your body from on top of mine." I started struggling, yanking on my arms to try and release them from his warm grip.

Sucking in a large amount of air, I opened my mouth to scream. Rafe crushed his lips to mine, the breath I was going to use to scream just left me in a whoosh of air. I froze in shock. Quickly I turned my head to the side.

"That is enough Rafe." The Capitan spoke softly. "Let's finish, we are wasting time here." Rafe nodded his head.

Standing he pulled me to my feet. My hands went for my lips to rub away the tingling feeling left behind by Rafe's soft, firm lips. He stole my first kiss. I don't know how to feel, too many emotions are racing throughout my mind and body.

I didn't know I was being addressed until the soft, silkiness of curtain ties wrapped around my wrists. "No." The soft cry escaped from my lips before I had the change to stifle it. I tried to jerk free, but I was soon jerked to the warm, muscular chest of Rafe. As soon as my hands were tied a bag was placed over my head. I tried to keep my breathing normal, my warm breath was making the air in the bag hot and hard to breath.

"Everything is ready Captain." I didn't recognize the voice so it had to be Jean speaking.

I let out a squeak as I was lifted over a hard shoulder. A loud thud was barely audible, someone dropped the small trunk that holds my clothes.

Soon I could feel the cool, salty air of the coast touched my bare feet. Panic started to set in, and I began to hyperventilate. I fainted, like those girls I always make fun of for fainting at the smallest things
