I am becoming impatient, it feels as if we have been waiting for this guest forever. I look over to Hobbens who has been nervously chewing on his lip, tapping his fingers against his hip, and shuffling around. Huffing out a breath he turns and walks into Rafe's room.

Hobbens's long stride is eating up the distance between us as he emerges from the room. In his hands he has my Rapier and what looks like leather cuffs. "What are you doing, and why are you so fidgety?" I said to Hobbens as he stood before me.

His sharp eyes seemed sharper. "I am preparing you. We don't know what will happen once they arrive. And I have this feeling that you are going to need these." He held my Rapier out to me and I took it and strapped it to my left hip. "These arm cuffs are made of the toughest leather and nickel. Nickel is dangerous to Sprites, like iron is to Fairies."

"Will the nickel not hurt me?" I asked since I am a Fire Sprite, which I am still not sure of how to handle the information.

Hobbens smiled down at me. "You are lucky and inherited a high tolerance for nickel from your mother."

A smile tugged at my lips at the mention of my mother, but before the smile could form a call sounded in the air. "They are here." Hobbens murmured.

I felt a tremor of excitement and fear for the unknown guest. Hobbens tightens the arm cuffs before turning to greet the guest. I got a glimpse of a slim, pale hand before the guest set foot on the deck. I was shocked I would have thought that this O'Malley would be a big, bear of a man, but a tall commanding woman stood on the deck. Her red hair, a much brighter color than my own, fluttered in the small breeze. I watched as her eyes took everything and every person in. She didn't miss a single detail, it seemed like.

O'Malley's eyes stopped on me, she seemed to absorb every little thing about me. The way her eyes lit up it was almost as if she knows who I am. Her lips form a small smile before she calls out to White. "White are these the new crew mates you need me to approve of?"

Her question was strange to me, that he needed approval of us for some unknown reason. Out of the corner of my eye I see Rafe touch his shoulder lightly. I remember that I had wounded him. Reaching my hand out slowly, I softly touch where the healing wound is. "I'm sorry is it bothering you?" I catch sight of what looks like a hand print on his chest as the wind plays with his shirt.

"Not really." His short response irritated me.

Huffing out a breath I turn back to O'Malley, who is having a very quiet conversation with White and for some unknown reason this also bothers me. Their eyes cut to me so often that I know they are talking about me.

Does everyone want to anger me in some way today? I ask myself.

"Hobbens I feel very short tempered today." I address Hobbens. His response was a low grunt. A sigh escapes my lips and I step away from Rafe, and turn so that my back is to him. I keep my eyes on White and O'Malley, I don't trust them one bit. Why do they keep looking at me? After a few more minutes they break away from each other and walk in our direction. Unease sits low in my stomach.

"Hello my little Queen." White's voice grates on my nerves. "Don't you look prepared for a fight. Are you planning on trying to escape again?" His eyes latch onto mine, it feels as if he is reading my soul.

I run my fingers along the hilt of my Rapier before responding. "No, I quite like it on the ship now." I smirk at White's frown.

O'Malley steps closer to me, but looks up to Hobbens. "You are approved, but the young lass needs to prove herself." Her deep blue eyes unnerve me. "Lass why will you not try and escape again? You must want to go home?"

I do not know how to respond at first and only stare her down. When it looks as if O'Malley is uncomfortable, I answer her. "I know what awaits me when I return home, so I wish to delay it for as long as possible."

"And what awaits you?" She was genuinely curious about my answer.

"My father." was all I said to her, she seemed to understand by the look of pity she had. I open my mouth to respond to her look, but Hobbens stopped me by placing his hand upon my shoulder. I cut my eyes to him, and before I could say anything he told me to calm down.

I looked back to O'Malley. "What is it that you want me to do to prove myself?"

A wide smile split her face. "Ah I like you lass, strait to the point I like it. I need you to find...a piece of my treasure."

"Okay...can you describe it to me?"

"No, lass I cannot, but I can tell you that it is in my castle. It is very dear to my heart, and that is all I can tell you, with out giving it away."

I was aggravated with her answer, but I know that I must complete this test of hers. "Do I have a time limit?"

O'Malley seemed to think about it for a moment. "Before we sit down to eat, you must find my treasure. You do not have to bring it to me, but you must tell me what it is and if you can bring it to me, I will give you extra points in your favor to join this pirate crew."

That only leaves me a couple of hours. Hobbens leans down and whispers in my ear. "Shake on it."

My eyebrows scrunch in confusion, but I hold out my hand for O'Malley to shake. "Shall we seal the deal with a handshake O'Malley?"

     "Grace, call me Grace."

"Grace, call me Regina not lass." I smile as she shakes my hand.

The smile I just formed dropped from my face as my ears started to burn, then my eye, and lastly my mouth. Then there was a tugging sensation on my body as if I was some type of puppet and my puppeteer was controlling me. I was on the starboard side of the ship before I even realized I had moved. "Regina what are you doing?" Rafe calls out to me.

I look over my shoulder at him. "Treasure hunting." With a large smile I jump ship for the second time. My body rushes towards the salty water, just before breaching the water I take a breath and close my eyes. When I am completely submerged under water I open my eyes and wonder why when I am underwater the salt doesn't burn, but when waves splash and salt water gets into my eyes it burns.

Being underwater has a calming effect on me and the aggravation and aggression I felt moments ago washes away. Breaking through the surface of the water I look toward the castle. I have two options, either I swim ashore or I continue swimming up a channel that passes the castle. I opt for the channel, choosing to stay in the relaxing water.
