Ashley's pov

 flashback

three years ago

i was walking out of my class and saw the school heartthrob/troublemaker Alx leaning on a wall next to my locker i walked over there

Alx"hey"

Ashley"hi Alx"i put my books in my locker and closed my locker and was walking away then he grabbed my hand lightly and turned me around and kissed me for like 30 seconds before pulling away with a smirk because i was so shocked he kissed me 

Ashley"what was that for"i blushed  

Alx"i like you do you want to be my girlfriend?"

Ashley"um ok"

Alx"great"he kissed my cheek and left 

for the next month he was super sweet to me then he was not returning my calls i went over to his house and knocked on the door he opened it and let me in

Alx"what?"

Ashley"why haven't you been returning my calls?"he shrugged

Alx"i didn't feel like talking to you"

Ashley"but i'm your girlfriend"

Alx"yeah and?"

Ashley"and i wanted to talk with you"i felt a stinging pain on my cheek wait did he slap me?

Ashley"what was that for?"i held my cheek

Alx"you were being annoying"

Ashley"i just wanted to talk to you"he slapped me again but harder i fell onto the floor he kicked me and hit me and went somewhere i just lied there in crying from the pain for about ten minutes until i could get up i looked at my tummy and saw i had a deep purple bruise there i walked out to my car and put on the sweater that was in my trunk and i drove back home and took off the sweater and Amy walked in and i pulled the sweater up with my shirt by mistake and she saw and asked me what happened i lied and said a ball hit me she didn't believe me so i told her the truth about what happened and she told me to break up with him but i said can't and that she can't tell mom and dad she said she wouldn't 

for the next year he would be abusive towards me then would be saying sorry i always fell for it then he was being super sweet for like a month he took me on a date then took me to the park 

Alx"Ashley"he got on one knee and held my hand"i know we're only 17 but i love you and i want to marry you so Ashley May Rose will you marry me?"he pulled a velvet box out of his pocket and opened it and there was a ring i nodded he slipped the ring on my finger and kissed me i kissed back 

the next month my mom and dad divorced and Alx was still being abusive me and him called off the wedding because my mom and I were moving to California she got me and my dad got my sister Amy and i gave alx back the ring i took me some time to forget him then i found this website called youtube and started watching this group called o2l and i liked Kian the best
