Seeing Hikaru after that day would be really awkward and the guilt inside me grew bigger by the second. I guess I'll just have to roll with the punches. As best I can, at least.

The school hallways and corridors were decorated in Halloween themed ornaments like jack o' lanterns and witches. I forgot it was Halloween coming up. I remember celebrating it with Rinda, saying the masks look better than our original face. The running gag was that we were identical to begin with.

I wonder what costume I should wear this year. Rinda and I would normally go couple themed like Liz and Patty from Soul Eater or any anime or manga partners. We were always into cosplay.

"Are there any objections to the majority vote?" Class Rep asked the class with a blank face. The class just decided on making this year's Halloween event a test of courage tournament or something or other.

I love those things like in horror movies, suspense. Knowing something is going to happen but don't know when. "Anyone at all?" He asked again, still no answer. He sighed and pushed his glasses back on the bridge of his nose.

"Very well." He confirmed, a little obvious he wasn't pleased with the outcome.
"Wanna be on our team, Risa?" The twins asked in sync. I'm a little surprised and impressed that Hikaru is still able to get along with his brother as always. You'd think that the other day would make a few changes to their bond.

"Yeah, of course." I smiled, turning to face them. "Haruhi, you with us?" I asked.
"Um, sure." She shrugged. She didn't seem that interested in the event for some reason. I guess she's just not that kind of person.

We had to decide the precautions as a class before the event started which was basically deciding on how much we should spend on costumes and what we should do if someone gets scared too much. If they'd have a heart attack or a panic attack, something in the attack region.

Out the corner if my eye, I saw Haruhi slip away out the classroom door and didn't come back for a little while. I nudged Kaoru with my elbow and jerked my head toward the door.

I knew he caught onto what I was trying to say and repeated my actions on Hikaru. We silently escaped the meeting to follow Haruhi and without being seen, found her crouched with the class Rep on the floor.

"You gotta let me be on your team, Fujioka." He shivered, hugging his knees. "If I'm with you, there's a chance I can keep my sanity." The twins and I grinned at each other devilishly. We all knew what each other was thinking. "One more thing, you can't tell the Hitachiin brothers or that girl, Risa, they hang out with."

That's when the twins and I decided to make our appearance and whipser in a sly voice,
"Is someone a fraidy cat?" In unison. I've spent too much time with them so sometimes I talk in sync with them. It's starting to become a bad habit.

Class Rep immediately started screaming at us to get away while clawing at the window next to us. We probably scared him a bit too much.
"Hey, have you decided on your teams yet?" Kurakono, a girl from our class, asked.
"The five of us will be one." The twins and I said. I'm telling you, it's too hard not to do.

"Great, then you're team B." She smiled and noted us in her clipboard.
"It's all over now." Haruhi mumbled with a little humourous tone.

Before we start, we needed to tell the rest of the club what we were doing or Tamaki-senpai and Kyouya would get angry, none of us want that.

It was Halloween cosplay, obviously and everyone were vampires. I think vampires are just as cool as the next person but when they're flirting with you, it just reminds me of the Twilight Saga, not a big fan.

"Why are you late? Go change." Tamaki-senpai ordered while cupping a swooned customer's face.
"Sorry boss, but from now until Halloween..." Hikaru began with his arm around Haruhi.
"Count us out." Kaoru finished with his arm around me.
