I've returned from the dust
My head held high
I'm back to the world of the living
The flowers have once again bloomed
Fresh, clean, new
A blank canvas
Ready to be covered in paint
The skies are clear
With just a few cotton clouds
I'm back with the writers
Learners, dreamers, believers
My goodbye
Was never really permanent
My pen has been scribbling
Leaking words
Across page
After page
The raindrops are still here
Glistening on shiny green leaves
I'm done rambling
Now that I've returned
My mind has been knitting
New lines
My goodbye has passed
And I'm back
To tell you all
