Stretching outward
Beyond the horizon
An unknown
Unknown places
Unknown wonders
The sky holds beauty
Slivery stars
A glowing sun
But it holds mysteries
And questions
And answers to questions
Not even I have thought of
Yet
The unknown surrounds us
From the stones under our feet
To the stars that wink acroas
The ebony night sky
To who we are
And how little
We truly understand
We are all unknowns
We've been overlooked
More times than we'd like
But we've grown from the shadows
From the realm of the unknown
In ourselves, we are the sky
Ever-expanding
And evolving daily
But even through the darkest of nights
The shadiest of unknowns
We come out triumphant
And perfectly alright with
Questioning the unknown
