Miranda's pov

The excitement of getting married has made me very nervous. "This is going to be perfect." Mom says, hugging me. "Except for the earthquakes that have been happening everywhere in the last 9 hours." Jenny says. I roll my eyes. "Oh quit being a downer!" I gripe. She laughs and Debbie Jason's mom walks in. I wave. "You look beautiful." "Thanks."

Jason's pov

As the door opens, I see my daughters walk down the aisle with the flower girls' outfits. They look adorable. The nagging feeling of something missing gives me the chills. That something missing is her son. Luke who is my best man pats my shoulder reassuringly. I smile as she walks out. I hold her hands and the preacher starts talking. About 5 minutes in though an earthquake hits! These darn things have been hitting all over the place! The whole building starts shaking! "Jason!" She cries as the floor gives out beneath us and we're free falling but to where. "What's going on!" She gasps. I grab her hands again. Her hair is flying everywhere and we hit the ground hard, knocking me out.

*later*

"Oh where are we?" "I think we're underneath the church!" She says, grabbing my arm. We both stand up. It's really dark. Suddenly a flame appears. I walk over. Brantley holds up a lighter. "Whoa, look at this!" He gasps, pointing. Standing in front of us is an old rundown church. "There's a church under the church!" I gape. She tugs on my arm. "It's not just a church." She says. I turn around. There's a whole city!! "Dad!" Keely and Kendyl run to me. "Where are we?" Kendyl cries. I pick her up. All the buildings are run down and uninhabitable. This is so weird. "Everyone stay close." I look up at the way we came. High above us, a bright light shines. But it's too high up above us to help down here. "There's a whole town underneath ours." Brantley says, fhe lighter going out, plunging us into darkness. I hear Kendyl scream. She's afraid of the dark. I pull out my phone but we're too low underground to get a signal. I use it as a light. "We should find a way out." Miranda says. "And we will darlin'. We just gotta look."

*later*

I sit down. "I think we should take a break for the night." I mutter then look above us. I don't know if it's night or day. Kendyl falls asleep in my lap instantly. I wrap an arm around Miranda. She falls asleep on my shoulder.

*in the dream*

I'm in the studio and Brett walks over. Instantly it changes to the church before it collapsed. Why do I keep having dreams about Brett. "Where you are right now, from that point, you need to walk left down main street." He says then disappears. This is too weird. Am I seeing his ghost? If so why me?

*he wakes up*

From where we are go left on main street. I stand up, still holding a sleeping Kendyl. "I know where we have to go." I say. "We're following you." Luke says. I wonder why. "I.... Uh... Okay... We need to go that way." I say, pointing toward main street. I see a knocked over street sign with those words written so that's how I know. I grab my girl's hand and walk that way with my friends and family following. Why am I the leader? Why me? After what feels like another day and a half of walking, there's an old rusted ladder. It doesn't look very safe but it's all we got. "I guess we're going up." Brantley says. I stare at it worriedly. "Ok, who's first?" I ask. Luke pushes me toward it! "Me! Why me?! Guys!" "You're the leader!" "Why?" He shrugs. Miranda hugs me. "You can do it." She says, hugging me. I take a deep breath and grab hold of the bars. I guess I'm first.
