Miranda's pov

We were driving back home, both girls fast asleep in the backseat. I look behind me at them and smile. Jason puts a hand over mine. "What's on your mind hun?" He asks. "Nothin'. I just love your little girls." He smiles and squeezes my hand. "Our little girls." He says, making my eyes tear up, thinking about Brett. "I love you." I whisper, laying my head on his shoulder and closing my eyes. "I love you too baby girl." He says, kissing my head.

*later that night*

Jason's pov

Jessica pulls up to pick the girls up. I wave and hug the girls goodbye. "See ya girls." I say waving. "Had fun in Disney?" Jess asks. "Eh, it sure was exhausting and I thought touring tired me out." I joke. "They had a blast though." Jess is staring at them. "I'm really glad you're happy." She says. I watch her confused. She looks upset. "Jess you okay?" She nods. "See ya." She says, waving. I wave too then go lay down. Why was Jessica acting so weird? "We just hittin' the hay early right babe?" I call into the bathroom. "After that long drive, you must be exhausted." She says, through the door. I am tired and I was dozing off when the she opens the bathroom door. I open my eyes and smile seeing my girl. "Hey baby." She lays beside me. I wrap an arm around her. "I'm so glad you didn't mind your own business that day." She whispers. I smile and kiss her head. "Me too baby girl." I turn out the light and fall asleep instantly.

*in his dream*

I walk to the dock with my rod. Brett meets me there. I sit beside him. "Hey bud, how's it going?" He looks troubled but stays silent. "I heard you and Kendyl were hanging out." He nods. I cast my line. "Don't let Keely and Kendyl go to school tomorrow." He whispers, looking up with tears in his eyes. I stare at him shocked and freaked out. "What do you mean, Brett?" I ask. "Just don't, Mr. Jason. Don't let them go to school please!" He cries, terrified then he disappears. I stare at the dock in shock.

*he wakes up*

I instantly grab my phone. They should be getting up for school. I call Jessica. "Jess, I know this might sound crazy. But don't send the girls to school today." "Why?" "Just because I have a bad feeling. They can afford to miss one day." She sounds reluctant but lets them skip a day. "Thank you." I gasp dropping the phone. That little boy's warning was definitely something I should follow. And whenever I dream of him and he gives me advice, I'm following it. Every time. I stare at my beautiful sleeping wife. I stroke her hair. "I love you sweet girl." I say, kissing her head and falling back to sleep.

*in his dream*

Instantly Brett slams into me with a hug. "Oh thank you!" He cries, tearing up. I bend down to his eye level. "Son, what would've happened to the girls?" He stares at me teary eyed. "You'll find out later. Thank you for not sending them. I don't want you and mommy to be sad again." He whispers. "Why are you crying?" "Relief." He whispers, hugging me again then disappearing. I hear the sound of my phone ring.

*he wakes up*

I answer my phone, my wife no longer beside me. I smell bacon so she must be making breakfast. "Hello?" "Oh thank God Jason! How did you know?" Jessica cries, hysterical. "Know what? I don't-" "Their bus had a wreck. And Jason there were no survivors." My eyes go wide and I drop the phone in shock.
