this one is written like all of the other previous ones so. yeah
I walked down the hall with a small smile on my face.
You said you'd sit with me at lunch and that kinda makes me excited. I don't really have friends so this is pretty great.
I walked into the cafeteria and kept close to the wall. People liked to shove me so I at least had the wall for support.
I sat down at my usual table in the back  and started to mess with my cuticles, picking at them until they started to bleed.
That's when you sat down in front of me.
The sound of you setting down two trays of food shocked me.
I looked at you with confusion.
"I told you I'd buy you a lunch."
You have a wonderful smile. I hope you realize that.
"Thank you." I responded, my voice a little deeper than I wish it was. I grabbed the tray and took the hamburger.
"So Jayden!" I look up in your pretty eyes. " You gonna come to my game tomorrow?"
"Uh... Sure! That is if you want me to?"
" I wouldn't of asked if I didn't want you to."
We both smile.
I remember you laughed as I ate the food quickly and you let me have your burger too.
You and me have chemistry together after lunch. (which I knew but you didn't) so you switched seats with the girl that was sitting next to me.
The next day was just the same too.
As was the day after that.
You never ran away.
But football night, after the game, you offered to take me home. I didn't want to go home, grandfather would be furious!
"Oli can I just go home with you?"
You stopped and looked at me. Your once sparkling eyes now dark and worried.
"Is something happening at home?"
You softly put your hand on my shoulder and you never stopped looking at me. Why did you stay looking at me? Were you making sure I wasn't lying? Are you worried I don't tell you the truth?
I sure hope not, your trust is really valuable to me right now.
"No..."
You sigh and pull me into a side hug.
"Guess I can have one friend over."
Friend? I'm your friend? What have I done to achieve such a title? I never thought I'd have friends.
"thanks." I mumbled, shivering in the cold.
After we walked out of the stadium, after we got in your truck, after the long quiet ride, and only after we pulled up in your drive way, did you say something.
"I hope it's okay that my parents are not home for the weekend."
You looked over at me with caring eyes.
Your eyes always told how you felt, even if you said otherwise .
I nodded and followed you up to your big house.
When we got close to your porch there was loud barking, causing me to freak and grab onto your smelly undershirt. You only chuckled and opened the door.
"It's only Tami, my bull dog."
The short dog came running over, smelling my ankles. I grabbed onto your arm. Dogs and cats freak me out a little.
"it's okay Jayden, she won't hurt you. She just wants to make a new friend."
I still clung onto your muscular arm, shaking.
"Hey, I'll put her in her kennel okay?"
I nodded and slowly (though I didn't want to) let go of your arm. You pick up the dog and walk out of the room.
I look around your house. It was big. 2 stories and I'm pretty sure you had a basement. I start wandering around your house.
The living room was big and you had a huge, thin TV. A big leather sectional with lots of blankets and pillows. There were 2 recliners and a coffee table. There was a kitchen too. But I didn't want to bother you so I went up the stairs instead.
There was a confusing hallway with about 6 different doors. I started going through them.
The first door opened to a small room with boxes upon boxes marked with 'canvas' or 'oils' or 'Watercolor ' I quietly closed that door and went to the next one. It was a simple guest room with a small TV in the corner. I closed that and went to the next one. It was just a closet filled with towels and bed sheets.
The next door I opened was a master bedroom. I closed it that being found in there would be weird.
The next door was the bathroom leaving me with one door left.
I opened it and walked into the room. It was clean and organized. The room held a queen sized bed, a desk with a computer, a closet, a door to the bathroom, and a box full of magazines. There were football posters all over the beige walls. I crawl on the bed and look at the posters. That's when I hear my name being called from the door way.
"Jayden! There you are!" I turn to look at you only to be pulled into a quick hug. "I thought you left!"
I shake my head and pat your back.
"where would I have gone ?"
you laugh and let go of me, the warmth that filled my heart quickly grew cold.
"I see you were looking at my posters?"
"huh? Yeah I guess ... I was just looking at other football players."
You laugh and tackle me down on the bed.
"But I'm your favorite."
"I guess you are..."
You squeezed my waist.
"Let's just... Let's just sleep like this!"
I couldn't protest, no. I had already fallen asleep in your arms. The warmth filling me and allowing me to finally sleep peacefully.
I dreamt of a certain football player.
