*Alex's POV*

"Gaskarth!" Austin's strained voice made me freeze.

I looked over as he rushed over. "Yes?" I asked.

"Where's Tyler?" He asked obviously still angry.

"On your bus. But I really don't think she'll want to talk to you." I dared to say. Jack and Rian looked at me in shock.

"I know. How upset is she?" Austin's angry posture dissolved away as he heaved a heavy sigh.

"To be completely honest, she was really upset. She was crying. You really hurt her Austin by your words." Austin looked at his feet in shame. "I got her to cheer up some." As angry as I was at Austin, I still couldn't stand to see my friend look like this.

He looked at me. "You really care about her don't you? Even after just meeting her?" He looked shocked but oddly pleased.

Talk about mixed emotions. I nodded with no hesitation. "I'm fully aware that she's been through a lot, and I'm not trying to steal her from you Austin, but please. Let me be there for her, even a little." I sighed.

Austin searched my face for any signs of lying. I knew he'd find none. "I'm sorry I freaked out on her, I was just-"

I held up my hand, signalling him to stop. "Don't apologize to me. Go apologize to Tyler." I said sternly. "I know you meant well, but she didn't and you hurt her."

Austin nodded and flashed me a small smile. "Thanks man." He said and patted my back before taking off running towards his bus.

"Damn Alex, you sounded almost grown up." Jack laughed.

I shoved my best friend playfully. "Oh be quiet."

On the outside I was laughing, but I was extremely worried. Austin and Tyler's relationship was one of a kind. I was scared to ruin that. And Tyler, her skinny frame worried me. I was missing a massive piece of information. And that scared me too. I couldn't help the feeling that her promise to me wasn't real.

XX *Tyler's POV*

Sunlight poured through my little bunk window. I thought I'd closed that last night. That's when I noticed the large body laying next to me sound asleep. I gasped and fell out of my bunk, hitting my back on something hard and the floor. "SHIT!" I spat and moaned in pain.

"Holy fuck Ty! Are you okay?" It was Austin, his head poking out of my bunk. Within seconds he was kneeling next to me.

"Get the fuck away from me!" I hissed and flew to my feet. My eyes narrowed as I leaned against the opposite bunks for support.

"Dude, what the fuck is going on?!" Alan groaned from his bunk.

Austin stared at me sadly. "Tyler listen to me."

"No!" I shouted and spun around. Pain shot through my body but I ignored it and gathered my things before exiting the bus. I ignored the calls that were being yelled after me. Quickly, I pulled out my cell phone and called the first person that came to mind.

I wiped the sleeve of Alex's hoodie over my cheek for the hundredth time. Alex handed me a cup of coffee with a sad smile on his face. "Please stop crying..." He sighed. The tour bus sofa moved as he sat next to me and wrapped an arm around my shoulder. I couldn't say anything, I didn't trust my voice. I only shook my head in defeat. My phone started going off again, probably another call from one of the guys from Of Mice & Men. Sighing, Alex stood up and answered it, obviously annoyed. "Hello?"

"Alex? Thank god, that means Tyler's with you..." It was Aaron.

"Yeah, she's here. Do you want to talk to her?" I widened my eyes. "It's Aaron." He said holding it out.
