He watched how the liquid vibrated constantly.The music produced electromagnetic waves, movement was felt in the bar table. Calvin observed curiously the table. The table was made of marble, an excellent work, he had to admit.He was tapping insistently his fingers on the bar table. Calvin's thoughts were interrupted by David.
Cal?" David said." Calvin, did you hear what I just said?"
"Yes?"Calvin answered." No."
"I am hurt." David said." I just made the speech of the day, and you were ignoring me."
"Oh, my apologies. I didn't realize Natalia was in your body." Calvin stood up and slapped one of David's cheeks."I'm going to ask you simple questions.What is your name?Do you have a car? Wait, are you a virgin?"David punched his shoulder.
"You hurt my good cheek."
"Do you have a good cheek?" Calvin laughed."You are worst than I though,so how's Natalia?"
"Don't mention her."
"Why not? She is your girlfriend, right?"Calvin asked.
"No." David said as he drank his beverage.
"What do you mean no? You broke up with her?"
"Not exactly," David looked backwards, then he approached closer. "I told her I needed space."
"What a cruel human being.Why don't you just break up with her, up close?"
"Why I hadn't thought about it?" David made a thinking gestured." Because Steph would kill me."
"Will" said Calvin."That is a true fact."
"Look, who's talking," David glanced at him." Steph's next boyfriend."
"Ha, fake." Calvin responded."I am not dating her neither will I."
"Really? You don't like her?"
"She is a wonderful friend and seems pretty, but I can't see far from that."
"Are you joking?" Calvin shook his head."You must be, Steph is amazing."
"I never said the contrary, but I got enough from them."
"What do you mean enough?"
"I don't what to be involved with her and her friends." Calvin said in an angry tone.
"Chill ,bro."
"Anyway, why did you accept Lia if you didn't like her?"
"Because Steph told me." Calvin's blue eyes focused on David.He didn't believed Steph's control over David, or any other guy.
"Because Steph told you, that is your reason."
"I thought she was talking about us. I thought she wanted us back."Calvin could feel the sadness in his voice. How he had lost hope of something he wanted.
"Look, David " David paid attention to his words." First, I have my personal reasons. Second, I don't like to break my best friend's heart."Both of them laughed.
"That is why we need to date other chicks?" Calvin stared incredulously."What?It's true.We need different girls. We can get the normal ones, no super powers, or the dark apprentices.
"I am sure that two minutes ago, you were weeping over Steph. And now you are ready to move into anyone?
"Pretty much."David said."
