Lost and Found

The feeling and memories from Lou were almost gone. Even though he was still in the club, Nerea didn't mind. The last hour she had only focused on Calvin. Her fight with Lou was awful, but the anger was far gone. After Tim had left both of them began talking, Nerea stayed. They had talked about nothing, anything, and everything. It was easy to talk to him, Nerea thought. Calvin was a special, easy-going, and honest. He had spoken with the truth. It was extremely difficult to find people that could talk to you straight with no hints. Few people learn to be honest but only specific ones know how to use it.

Calvin was truly a special case, Nerea knew that. He had done what a few guys, including Drew, had done.Catching her attention. Nerea thought that different was better than normal. Guys were easy to get, originals hard to seek. Originals, she reffered to find guys who followed their own minds and hearts. Aside from their strong personality and confidence, they had an extraordinary essence and power. It was a lie that she didn't suspect Calvin was one. Although she had her doubts about him. Calvin caught her out of her thoughts.

"What are you thinking?" He asked.

"I am thinking about a question." She answered.

"About? We have probably talked about everything." Calvin said. He was right, they had talked about many topics. The topic just arrived and they would start discussing it. The last hour had been passed like that.

"About you." She said.

"Really?"

"Yeah, you asked me in the beggining. Why can't I?"

"Right, shoot."

"Do you have a girlfriend?" Calvin laughed at her question. "What?"

"Is that your question? Common, Rea, there has to be something else?"

"Answer." She said.  "I did."

"No, you asked me to change the question."

"Fine, but this one is better than the other one."

"The other one is?"

"Have you... ever peed your pants in a club?"

"What?" Her green eyes looked at his beverage which was close to fall on his trousers. "Okay." He said as he took his beverage. "For the sake of my drink and pants, I will answer your question."

"Thank you." Rea said. "Do you or you don't?"

"What do you think?" He asked her, his eyes waiting for an answer.

"Do you want me to guess?" He nodded. "Alright, I think you... are." He tilted his head and looked down. "Wait, you are not." Calvin raised his eyebrows. "You are... you're not... I will go with it's complicated." Calvin grinned.

"Your guessing is quite amazing." He laughed.

"Well, your facial expressions confused me."

"I don't believe you, you can do better." Rea glared at him. She moved at the end of her chair, close to him. Her eyes looked at him directly. Suddenly, she began talking without knowing.

"You are single. If you weren't you wouldn't be here sitting in the table bar, but that isn't the full reason." She said as she saw Calvin's eyes not moving away from hers. "There are only two reasons why I think you are here. Something happened to you, or you are mad at someone, or avoiding someone. I think is both. There is something on your mind, you can't get it out. That is the reason you were't listening to your friend. Which is the same reason why you came to this club. You didn't want anyone to see you." Nerea said she didn't know how much she had talked. This had happened to her more than once. She could feel how memories arrived from Calvin. "There is a reason why you don't want a relationship with her." As soon as she said it Calvin's eyes opened wide. She was correct. All she had said was true."Something happened with this girl you don't want to be with her. Steph. There is tension between you. You may think you are single but this girl may think the opposite. And that is why you are single."
