Chapter 20

Mikan POV
I was creating an alice stone in my hand that only contains the immortality alice it had gotten to the size of my whole hand that I have to carry it with both of my hands. I stopped at that point. I used my invisibility alice so it could not be seen. I went to my room and Natsume was standing there as hoped I looked at how big my alice stone was and I looked up at him he was walking towards me. Once he was close enough I used my insertion alice and placed my alice stone into him "What did you do to me?" He asked
"I used my insertion alice," I mumbled in reply
"What Alice was it?" He demanded
"My immortality alice, so you don't have to be ill every time you use your alice," I replied. He nodded in thanks and put his arms around my shoulder as we walked into my room. "What were you talking about with the HSP?" He asked as we sat down on the bed. "Nothing really. He was just asking how I was," I lied. He nodded again. I read his mind what's wrong with her? Why is she acting like this? I looked away "I'm tired. I just want to go to sleep," he didn't budge I used my telepathy alice on Bear. Bear can you kick Natsume out of this room I'm too tired to ask him. He did as he was told he kicked Natsume out the room he pulled out his notepad and wrote 'Mikan is now going to bed. She is in safe hands with me'
"Hn," he snorted and walked through the corridor. I used my shapeshifter alice to turn into a fox. Bear before I sleep I'm just going to take a walk I telepathically say to Bear he nodded and so I went out into the balcony and ran as a fox through the sunset I went towards the northern woods and changed into a Hawke and flew. It was very calming as the wind brushed my feathers. I went into a dive heading towards a lake. Before I reached the water I turned myself into a bottlenose dolphins and swam. I headed downwards into the depths until I saw a fairly small hole carved into the wall of the lake, I turned myself again into a Koi fish and swam in. Inside was a small cavern with a pocket hole I then turned myself into a duck and floated back up. I went in and I heard the water dripping. It was quite calming I then saw thousands of glittering sparkles. In the water another Koi fish went up. Mikan, Hey! Natsume is heading to your room according to the Bears and Badgers. It said
"okay I'll head there as fast as I can," I replied I jumped into the water turning myself into a Koi fish and swam out into the main lake. And I jumped out the water and saw Ruka sitting by the lakeside with animals around him. I quickly turned myself into a fox and quickly groomed myself, Ruka looked at my direction. I quickly ran away turning myself into a crow and flew onto my balcony. I then turned myself into a black cat and walked gracefully inside I walked into the bathroom and took a bath in my human form. I got dressed ready for bed and I turned myself into a black cat again as it was easier to sleep that way I wrap myself around Bear and slept like a kitten as I was one myself.

Ruka POV
I was in the lakeside playing with my animal friends then I saw a Koi fish jump out of the lake "It's Mikan-sama!" Shouted a squirrel then all of them were in a commotion shouting "It's Mikan-Sama! Mikan-sama over here!" I wonder who was Mikan sama. I looked at the direction they were looking at and saw a beautiful fox it's glossy fur was all wet I was about to ask if it was alright as it was totally soaked but it ran away. I thought it was really weird. I asked the animals what's wrong with that fox "You mean Mikan-sama, she doesn't want anyone to see her in her animal forms." Said a rabbit
"What do you mean animal forms?" I asked
"She is human, she just noticed she had the shapeshifter alice a few days ago. She saved Honey the bear from a rock fall not far from here and she healed my wing yesterday. She is now the guardian of the forest. She promised all of us," Said a raven. Could it be? I thought. I quickly rushed over to Mikan's room and knocked.

Bear opened the door "Can I see Mikan for a moment?" I asked urgently he pulled out his notepad. 'She is not here she went for a walk' he wrote. "Can I come in?" I said. He hesitated but nodded I walked in and saw a black cat on her bed sleeping soundly. "Whose is that cat?" I asked Bear wrote on his notepad 'it's Mikan's, it's foot was hurt yesterday and she healed it. But it seems to take a liking to her.' I nodded "Well see ya!" I walked off. Maybe I was wrong I thought.
