Chapter 22

Grandine POV
The envelope that my newfound friend, dove also known as Ali contained; a credit card, a phone, a wallet and plane tickets.

When I got to town, I saw familiar faces but I then realised that the older you get the more time you are given to go out of school grounds. It was Ring-kun.

Ring POV
I needed to take a breather so I persuaded or should I say forced the principals to give me permission to be out of school grounds. I headed straight to town and on my way I thought of Mikan. Oh how I love her! Her voice, laugh, face, everything! But I know I could never have her as her heart has been stolen away by my cousin Natsume. I gritted my teeth just by thinking and seeing them two together. I stalk her from time to time. So I know what she's up to. But today I just have to take my mind off her. She's never going to notice me.

Once I got to the town girls crowded around me and started asking me these weird questions:

"Oohh you're pretty cool wanna date?"

"Stop that he belongs to me! Don't you?"

"Please be my boyfriend?"

"Do you have a girlfriend?"

"Can...can... I carry your child,"
And all those things. I was surprised at the last one. In the corner of my eye I saw a beautiful girl with white hair and yellowish eyes. I fell in love with her at first sight. This is my chance! Mikan used to be the only one I actually love/like but now a new person has come walking into my life. She was absolutely stunning. On her shoulder was a dove and she looked like a messenger from God an angel as well as the dove as her trusty companion. I have such a weird imagination. Maybe I'm reading to many Mangas. I walked up to her and she stopped and stared at me with a plain face but with a hint of realisation.

Grandine POV
He's walking right to me! What should I do?! If he notices who I am... I...I'm dead. Instead of dragging me back to the academy he says to me "Excuse me miss but may I ask for your name?" Phew! He hasn't noticed me yet. "Mik- umm. Grandine..." I said in a cautious voice. I nearly said my real name then. I suddenly sensed a dangerous aura coming from behind him. It must be his fangirls! "Will you excuse me? I have a flight to attend to," I said in a hurry but my arm was grabbed by him. I then heard muttering and moaning coming from the fangirls. "Please let me assist you." Ring kun insisted. Think Mikan! Think! Wait! I got it! "I'm sorry I don't know you. And most of all Haven't you heard the phrase 'Don't talk to strangers!" I spat at him. I'm so sorry Ring-kun, I quietly said in my mind. Ali, the dove on my shoulder suddenly shouted friends! The man in front of my master can you get rid of him please! I then saw a flock of birds heading towards us and the one at the front said Bombs Away! And white cream or poop splattered on Ring. I gasped and looked at Ali shocked. "Excuse me sir are you alright?" I asked. His eyes were filled with anger and just for safe measures I read his mind I'll burn every bird there is if only the rule don't show your alice to non alice didn't exist. "Oh shoot look what you done Ali," I whispered to Ali, he cowered in fear. "Gomene," I said to Ring-Kun and ran away. I looked back and saw the fangirls wiping their napkins onto Ring-kun and one of them was rushing towards him with a bucket full of water. They poured the water over his head and the white substance slipped off easily. I decided to help him dry off I lifted my hand and air started blowing on Ring-kun. Soon enough he was dry I smiled, suddenly I felt a huge throb on the side of my head. I groaned clutching the side of my head. He suddenly came running at me "What's wrong?!" He said to me which seemed muffled.

Ring POV
Where did that wind came from! I looked at the direction of the beautiful girl and I see her clutching her forehead. I ran up to her and asked her "What's wrong?!" In panic. Her eyes fell shut and she fainted. I picked her up and carried her to school running as fast as I could.

I brought her over to the infirmary and doctors came in asking questions and such...

Natsume POV
I was trying to find Mikan and I ended up being at the gates of Gakuen Alice when I saw my cousin Ring carrying a young girl with white hair running towards the gates but before they open "Open the gates!" He shouted and the gatekeeper simply obeyed. He ran past me like his life depended on it. I took a peek at the girl as he ran past me and it was the same girl I saw hugging the HSP. I followed him and he headed for the infirmary elementary school.

As he got there the doctors and nurses started to ask him questions but all of them where answered in a simple 'no' or 'I don't know'. "She has a fever and she seems like she has been comatose." Proclaimed one of the nurses. I looked over at her and she looked so much like Mikan when she was hospitalised.

After the diagnosis ended I see Ring stroking her hair with anxiety in his eyes like he was afraid of her breaking. I walked up to him and touched his shoulder and he turned around and scowled... No... Hiss. I wonder what's wrong?

Ring POV
I felt a pat on my back and I turned around and I saw my cousin Natsume. I scowled at him, more like hissed. He already took one girl I loved he's not getting this girl as well. He stepped back in confusion and I realised what I was doing. "Soz, cuz," I said turning away again. After a few seconds of silence I heard footsteps coming out of the room. I sighed and sat up straight and looked out the window. Leaves are falling. "It's that time of the year again" I whispered.

I accidentally fell asleep my head on the bed when I woke up I saw the girl standing looking out the window. "Grandine," I mumbled. She turned around and said "Why'd you bring me here?" She said with a hint of anger. I could see her hand clenched as a fist. "You fainted," I replied. She nodded and went to wards the door and grabbed her handbag that was hanging on the coat hanger behind the door. "It was nice meeting you Ring..." She said with urgency and went out the door. How could she know my name? Did any of my fans say my name? I thought. I ran out of the room and grabbed her arm. "You can't leave yet," I said
"Why can't I?" She replied in a soft voice.
"Umm... The doctors haven't given you the permission to leave,"
"Gomene, I should go to them right away,"
"Why're in such a hurry?"
"You made me miss my flight."
"Gomene. As an apology I'll pay for the next one." I insisted
"No...no I can pay for it. Just forget about the whole scenario," Suddenly a ringing came to her bag. She went through her bag and brought out an IPhone 6s+ rose gold. What!!! She answered her call...

Grandine POV
I'm gonna have to change my personality as I see him getting too close to me. I heard a ringing of my phone, I rummaged through my bag to find it. "Hello," I said first as I answered.
"Hello Mikan,"
"Ahh, Uncle,"
"Where're you now?"
"I'm at school,"
"What! What are you doing here?"
"Ring brought me over here as I fainted. I'm sorry for making you worry,"
"Can you hand the phone over to Ring?"
"Mhm," I handed my phone to Ring. "It's for you," he put my phone into his ear and said "Hello,"

"What! Are you kidding me!" I saw him move back, hit a wall and went down; sitting down. I bent down and said "You okay?" He passed over my phone and slumped against the wall. "Umm Uncle what did you say to Ring?" I asked on the phone
"The truth. And I also insisted on him to come with you,"
"Wait what! But you said..."
"Forget about what I said. He'll come with you,"
"Okay," he ended the call and I see Ring still slumped "So Ring you're coming with me right," I said as he looked up and nodded. I held out my hand so I could pull me up but he just pushed my hand away and stood up on his own. "I'm gonna go pack," was all he said and walked off. "I'll meet you at the gates." I shouted after him.

After Ring disappeared from my sight I heard some familiar voices "I can smell her nearby." Permy! Oh shoot I'm going to be busted! At the end of the corridor I saw the gang being led by Permy who was on fours and using her Alice. Think Mikan think! I should act "Ayyy!!! It's a cat-dog-human thing!" Good job Mikan! I praised myself inside my head. I ran the other direction when I heard Ruka say "What's a non alice doing here? Wait a second haven't I seen you from somewhere?" I used my memory processing alice and saw that he saw me hugging the HSP as I was about to leave! I ran away and they followed me. Oh shoot they have Koko with them they might get too suspicious of me if he can't read my mind. So I made up one.
