When I looked at myself every day I laughed because just a few years ago I imagined my life to be completely different but here I was a doctor who was meant to help people but couldn't help herself .Then this one day when my friends and I went out together we bumped into Joshua and his friends and god wow had he grown into a fine sexy, young man .He had gone to America to study there and I had never seen her him ever since the day I told him I hated him.
He came over and said "Aaliyah is that you?" I looked in those hazel green eyes I had known and loved so much and replied
"yes it is so Joshua how have you been?"
He leaned down and hugged me oh how he smelt that musky smell I knew all My life. He asked his friends to join us and we talked and talked until hours went by .
By the time we we had been done talking everyone had been leaving Aaliyah left with Saliegh Thandiwe had left with mahmood, Amirah had left with Mujahieed and Lauren had left with husain oh me and the other Aaliyah was the same age and so was Saliegh but Joshua was a year older than me he was now 24 years old and I was 23 and I just couldn't believe that I didn't even think about him but with what had been going on in my life it was understandable .He had then asked me what I studied and I told him that I had studied medicine and his eyes went wide.
"What?" He asked me I laughed.
"Yeah, I'm a doctor now." I nodded.
"No way! I'm a doctor too!"I couldn't believe it I think I blinked about a thousand times before I heard him laugh.
"Hard to believe right?"
"Yeah," I said. "Wow Joshua you are so different!"
"Good or bad?" I smiled.
"I think a good one." I teased.
"You think?" he asked.
"Yes, I think." He pretended to be hurt.
"I'm just a innocent little boy!" laughed at how he had said it with pouty lips and a baby voice when we were done laughing my stomach hurt beyond anything .
