J-hope P.O.V
I woke up with a start at the sound of the bell ringing. Mr Kim walked into the classroom with a stack of worksheets and the class stood up to greet him.
"Class, we have a new student coming in later. He... might be of some trouble, but please welcome him." Mr Kim said, giving out the worksheets. There was a buzz of excitement in the classroom and my best friend, Yoongi tapped me. "Hey, he would be sitting with you." He pointed at the empty seat beside me and I groaned. Yoongi knew how much I loved sitting alone and he sniggered. Being the top student wasn't easy, when people would always flock to me to ask questions, especially girls. The last time someone sat beside me, she kept asking me to help her with her homework, batting her fake lashes at me in an attempt to do aegyo. How do I tell her that I'm not interested in females? The sound of the door swinging open interrupted my thoughts and I looked up to see a boy saunter into the classroom, his long, orange hair covering his eyes partially and his baggy tee shirt hanging on his tiny frame. I instantly disliked his bad boy image. "Class, this is Kim Taehyung." Everyone applauded loudly and I could hear squeals from the girls sitting at the back of the class. He smirked, flashing his pearly white teeth. "Taehyung, you can sit beside Hoseok. He will guide you along the way." I raised my hand and he walked to my side, sitting down heavily. Mr Kim took out his textbook and started teaching a new concept and I listened intently, not wanting to miss out on the important details. Taehyung on the other hand, was dozing off. I rolled my eyes at him. At least he's not as bad as the sloth behind me. Yoongi wasn't even making an effort to stay awake. I sighed, wondering why was I even friends with him. Mr Kim held up the worksheet, instructing us to finish up the first three questions. I quickly wrote down my solutions and soon, all of them were solved. "Yah. Help me." The orange headed boy muttered, shoving his worksheet at me without even looking at it. "Help yourself." I replied, pushing the paper back onto his table. He looked at me, shocked that I treated him like that. With a pretty face like that, I knew he has never been rejected by anyone before. "Oppa! Let me help you." A girl shamelessly approached him. A smile formed on Taehyung's face and he copied her answers quickly. Turning back, he glared at me and waved his worksheet smugly. What an asshole. I ignored him completely throughout the next few hours and when the bell finally rang, I jumped out of my seat and dashed to the cafeteria, dragging Yoongi along. "Yah. That guy beside me is seriously annoying." I complained, putting down my tray on the table together with Yoongi and Namjoon, who was from another class. The latter raised his eyebrows, laughing at how frustrated I was. "Which one?" He asked, looking around. "If you see someone with orange hair and an asshole face, that's him." I replied, shoving the sandwich in my mouth. "What?" A familiar voice sounded behind me and I choked on the bread. Taehyung placed his tray beside mine, taking a seat beside me. My eyes followed him as he slipped in, glaring angrily. Namjoon and Yoongi stifled their laughs as they watched me shoot daggers at my new arch enemy. "Hoseok, don't be like that... I'm sure you love to have me beside you, right?" He sniggered, watching me squirm in disgust. "No I don't, and I would appreciate if you stay away from me." I answered, shifting as far from him as possible. Taehyung just shrugged, slurping up his ramen. I quickly finished my sandwich and left, making my way back to the classroom. Taking a deep breath, I told myself to remain calm for the rest of the day. Kim Taehyung better not provoke me again.A/N
