Seokjin P.O.V
The way Taehyung looks at Hoseok is just... gross. Nobody can look at Hoseok like that except for me! I pictured Taehyung gazing at Hoseok whenever he wasn't looking.
No no no... it doesn't feel right. I threw myself on the bed, feeling the soft sheets wrapping around me snugly.
I have to make Hoseok mine.
Hoseok P.O.V
The sun isn't even out yet. Why does school start so early? I grumbled to myself as I headed to school. As I plopped down on my seat, Taehyung came to greet me.
"Hoseok!" He exclaimed excitedly.
I smiled in response. I spotted Seokjin and greeted him as well."Hoseok what's that thing hanging round your neck?" Taehyung asked and reached out to touch the silver pendant. I recoiled immediately.
"Well... my hyung gave it to me." I replied in a small voice.
"Hyung? You have a hyung? I haven't seen him though." He questioned me.
"He's gone." I replied, trying to sound casual.
"Oh oh. I'm sorry. It looks beautiful. Can I take a look?" Taehyung apologised. But Tae being Tae, he was still curious about it.
"Of course. Don't lose or break it." I reached to the back of my neck to unclasp the chain and handed it to him carefully.
"Hoseok? Can I see you for a while?" Miss Song called me from the door and I walked out of the class, with Tae inspecting the necklace.
Taehyung P.O.V
I recalled Hoseok's voice when I reminded him of his brother. He must have loved him a lot. I touched the pendant, loving how it felt against my hand.
"Tae! Help me with question 16." Yoongi called and I left the necklace on my table, walking to his table to help him.
"Yes yes, now you divide this equation by two, bring this over and you get the value of x!" I explained, with Yoongi nodding his head. He thanked me and I headed back to my seat.
Wait. Where is the necklace?
I searched the table, flippped open my books and lifted my pencil case, but it was nowhere in sight. There was no trace of it.
"Tae? Can I have my necklace back?" I heard Hoseok's voice behind me. My heart pounded and blood rushed to my head. He is going to kill me.
"Hoseok... I don't know how to tell you this but... I can't find it." I lowered my head, preparing myself for a scolding.
"WHAT DID YOU SAY? YOU LOST IT?" Hoseok bellowed and forcefully lifted my head to make me look at him. His faced was flushed red and he wore an expression I've never seen before. His eyes glistered and my heart broke.
"I'm sorry, I'm really sorry. I don't know how it happened." I begged seeing how pained he was.
This made Hoseok even angrier and I felt myself being pulled upwards by his strong arms.
"Saying sorry doesn't make a difference. You better find it back. DO YOU UNDERSTAND?" Hoseok shouted, and threw me back on my seat.
"I-..." Tears were threatening to fall. I knew Hoseok was going to be furious, but it still hurt badly. To lose Hoseok as a friend.
"Shut up."
People were staring at us, whispering behind my back. I looked at Jimin, who mouthed something that I can't make out. My head pounded and I felt dizzy. Miss Song walked into class and there was nothing I could do but to sit in and listen. The day passed even slower than usual. As the bell rang, signalling the end of school, I approached Hoseok once again.
"Hey Hoseok." I stuttered, trying to keep up with his pace.
No response.
"Hoseok, let me explain. I-"
"Stop it. I don't want to see your face ever again." Hoseok said, his voice low and dangerous.
I stopped in my tracks. Hoseok has never spoken to me like that before. A single tear escaped from my eyes and I rushed into the toilet. Closing the cubicle door behind me, I finally let out a quiet sob. It was clear to me that the both of us will never be the same again. And that thought hurt like a bitch.
Why did I do that... why was I so careless? Why am I so upset?
Deep down, I knew the answer.
I dug around in my bag until my fingers closed around an elongated object.
My penknife.
I never used it before, except in my art and craft project last year. I never found a good use for it, but I guess now I finally found it. I pushed the blade out, marveling at how sharp it is. Placing the sharp tip onto my wrist, I made a quick swipe. Blood dripped out, but it felt so good. More swipes, more blood, but I didn't care.
"I HATE YOU KIM TAEHYUNG!!" I yelled as tears poured down my face, some dripping onto my wounds and it stung badly. But nothing stung quite as bad as my heart when Hoseok treated me like that. Wiping my face, I finally composed myself and walked out of the cubicle. After running the blade under water, I placed it back into my bag and decided to go home, feeling like a shell without a soul.
Seokjin P.O.V
I was already out of school, when Namjoon tapped me."Seokjin, I think you got some explaning to do."
