Chapter 3: New Girl
Amelia's P.O.V
*ONE WEEK LATER*
"Goodbye sis" says my brother hugging the life out of me
"Bye Amelia" grins my dad "I'm sure you'll come back...soon if you behave"
I give my dad a death glare then give him a sickly smile "I love you dad"
He rolls his eyes at me then steps back letting my mother say her goodbyes.
"Look, I never approved of this but your father...well he's..."
"Difficult?" I say quoting my dads words.
She gives me a small smile then proceeds talking "I love you sweetie"
"Bye" I reply blankly
Her face turns into a frown and I grab my bags and head to my brothers car. She calls out after me, "Just know it's for the best!"
"Say goodbye to mum properly or I'll make sure you get an hour detention after school for a month " threatens my brother
I raise my eyebrows then sigh knowing he'll beat me in arguments. I turn back whilst my brother puts my bags in the car.
"Don't order me around" I grumble I walk over to my mum who is sadly smiling at me. "Bye Mum, I promise to behave and I...I love you" I smile.
Her face turns into a huge smile, "I love you too" she replies.
I sigh and my deep blue eyes reflect right back into hers, "Why didn't you stop this?" I whisper
"You know how your father is"
"But I'm your daughter. Your own flesh and you would send me away! Not only to a boarding school but its a BOYS one", She looks at me lost for words her eyes so often blinking rapidly, "Typical, you never speak up when you have the chance"
I make my way back to the car when I hear Blake shout, "Bye AMELIA! DON'T GET INTO TROUBLE DO YOU REMEMBER LAST TIME? WHEN YOU ACCIDENTALLY BROKE MUMS..."
"You say any more and watch what happens to that so called face of yours"
His face turns into a grin and walks over to me pulling me in for another hug, "I really will miss you, you know" he whispers
"Stop being a baby! I'll be back sooner or later AND you can visit me"
He frowns at me, "I'm not joking"
"Aww, I'll miss you too now seriously let me go! I think I've said enough goodbyes and now I'm actually getting fed up"
I walk into the car with Austin and wave goodbye to them seeing a smile on my dads face. If you know me, I'm always persistent. I've been bugging them all week trying to get them to cancel my application. But it didn't work...obviously, it may of made them (or dad shall I say) get rid of me more. Urgh! I hate him and I know he hates me too.
"When will we get there?" I ask Austin who's munching on some crisps which he shouldn't be doing as he's DRIVING.
"Maybe in 6 hours time, 5 1/2 if there isn't any traffic" he replies
"Okay" I reply slowly.
I stare at him curiously. He's not been himself lately. He's always chatty and up for a laugh. I need to ask him about it later...
I put my headphones in not wanting to listen to my brothers head banging tunes. I felt my eyes getting heavier by the second and before you know it, I slowly drift off to sleep...
