Chapter 35: Back To School
Amelia's P.O.V
I heave my only suitcase from the car boot sighing.
"Here I'll take that" offers Harry giving me a hand
I let go of the suitcase, not bothering to protest. I walk towards the entrance, looking up folding my arms. I feel someone's presence next to me, so I turn my head to see Harry also looking up with one suitcase in his hand.
"Welcome back" jokes Harry
But I wasn't in the mood for laughing. I roll my eyes and he shakes his head slightly chuckling taking my hand and leading me inside the reception. As we walk in, that old wrinkly reception lady isn't there...she must have a life then.
We walk up the stairs and everything is all deserted. Everyone must of gone back for the summer holidays. I mean who would want to stay at school for their holiday?
Bree, Carter, Austin and Gabs slowly trudge behind us. We finally make it to my dorm and Harry yanks out his keys from his pocket. He opens the door and throws my suitcase on the floor. We all sit on the sofa rubbing our heads stressfully...no one saying anything.
Austin's great plan was to come back to school. WHY? HOW IS THIS SCHOOL GOING TO PROTECT US?
"We're going to find Blake" says Austin, finally getting up. "Carter, Harry lets go"
"How do you even know where he is?" I ask
"We're going to Blaze's warehouse first and we'll find out from there" says Austin "In the meantime go to the hideout in school" he instructs
"No! I want to come with you" I say sternly
"Amelia, I'm honestly not in the mood. Just listen to me!" he growls
"No, I want to help!"
"Your gonna get hurt" he shouts "Just leave"
I fold my arms raising my eyebrows at him, "Don't tell me what to do"
"I can do what I want and right now I'm ORDERING YOU TO STAY IN SCHOOL!"
I clench my fists, making my nails dig into my palms, "Your not the boss of me!" I spit
"Harry" says Austin pointing to me
Harry nods and Austin storms out the door with Carter closely following behind.
Harry walks up to me and takes my hands and letting them drop in between us, "Babe, listen to Austin"
I stare directly into his eyes scowling, "Why do you even listen to him?!"
He sighs, "I don't want you getting hurt"
"Your obviously avoiding the question" I say snatching my hands away from his and folding my arms
He looks at me, getting impatient and runs his hands through his hair, "Don't Amelia"
"Don't what?!"
"Don't be difficult" he exclaims. He lets out a deep breath and looks at me straight in my eyes. He steps closer to me and caresses my cheeks, "If anything happens to you, I will regret it so much that I won't be able to look at myself anymore. I was the only one who could stop you from coming and if I did you wouldn't be gone. The thought of you gone breaks my heart and I need you in my life Melia"
"Don't...I know what you doing-" I whisper, my voice shaking. My lips tremble slightly and I see Bree and Gabs leaving the dorm to give us a little time alone...
