Chapter 30: Challenge; Part ll
Austin's P.O.V
We were currently heading east towards the bridge. Unlucky for the other guys. God knows how they'll get over the river. Gabs, Arianna and Kelse were singing from their lungs to nursery rhymes. What alcohol gets to you.....
We finally reach the wooden bridge and I test it, checking its safe. I wearily take one step towards the bridge and see that its firm. I walk along and get to the other side
"Its safe!" I smile back to them
"Yeah we know, we just saw you walk on it" says Landon rolling his eyes
Liam's phone rang and it was put on speaker. I heard Bree talking about them being in jail and I snatch the phone off Liam.
I explain the situation to the rest of the guys and put Nathan in charge
"I'll meet you guys half way okay?" I say walking backwards slightly
"Yep" says Nathan popping the 'p'
"Have you got your compass?" I ask
"YES! Now go!" shouts Gabs
I grab her hips and bring her towards me making her squeal. I peck her on the lips and she smiles at me.
"You'll be a good girl won't you?" I smirk
"Uh huh" she grins
I kiss her one more time then let her go
"Stay safe" she hollers after me
I wave back to her and run all the way back. Hopefully it won't take that long.
In 30 minutes I reach the main road where the van is parked outside. I warm up the engine and speed down the road towards Shaftesbury.
-----
An hour and a bit later I reach the run down town and I see police men guarding a shop that looks like its been set on fire. I shake my head and smirk. Those idiots!
I drive up to the police station and see a skinny old man with his legs on the table.
"I'm here to bail out some troublesome kids?" I ask
He nods and points to the corridor that I have to walk down. I see a fat man eating doughnuts...
"How much for the bail officer?" I ask getting straight to the point
"Which one?" he asks like he's got so many prisoners kept in this station.
"Which one do you think?"
He huffs and types in some random stuff on the computer, "Well....adding it all up the total bail is...£785 due to the property damaged"
"Those kids are so gonna get it" I mutter pulling out my wallet. After I paid the guy he led to me the cell door. He unlocked it and Amelia came running to me and clings on to me for dear life.
"OH THANK GOD! I COULDN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE" she wails
The other guys pour out the cell thanking me
Bree comes and hugs my side, "I couldn't handle Tom talking to himself"
"He was feeling...claustrophobic" explains Carter
"You guys are so gonna pay!" I hiss pushing Blake forwards and out the station
"How much was it?" asks Tom, who's a little pale
"£785"
They all look away guiltily and mumble their sorrys.
