Jesse's POV

After one last look at Leigh and Nika, I turned and left. I needed time to think and calm down before I say things to Leigh that I'll probably regret later. As much as I wanted to yell at her and demand why she did that, why she kept my daughter a secret from me, I couldn't bring myself to hurt her and make her cry. I just couldn't, no matter how much I'm hurting right now. 

I left the house, slamming the door behind me and walked down the sidewalk. I'd taken a ride here with Josh so I didn't have my car. 

"Hey Jesse, my man, where you been?" I turned to see Alex, one of the line backers of the team, at the doorstep of the house they were having the party at. He was with a couple other guys from school and some girls whom I guess were from another school, seeing as I've never seen them around at school before. They all had a beer in hand and the girl were clinging to each guy. 

"I had to talk to someone." I replied and kept walking. 

"Where ya going? Aren't you gonna stay and party with us." Alex once again yelled.

I shook my head. "Nah, I don't feel like it." 

Alex scoffed. "Ok, whatever, but you're missing out." 

I just ignored him and kept walking till I got to the park near there house. I went over to the bench and sat down thinking about everything that happened tonight.

Truth was, I didn't even plan on going to the party tonight. The only reason I came was because I heard it was next to Leigh's and I had hoped to see and talk to her. I don't know why, but I was hoping that if we talked and I found out why she left, maybe we could solve our problems, and somewhat get back together. I had thought about Aimee and felt guilty but the half of me who wanted so badly to see and get an explanation from Leigh won. 

I did get an explanation, but I had never expected it at all. I was a dad, and have been for awhile now and I didn't even know it. 

I didn't know whether to be happy or sad or whatever but I know that I already love Nika. My baby girl. My princess. 

Even if I just found out about her tonight, I already love her. Even though I'm still too young and emotionally not ready to be a father, I'm going to be there for Nika and support her.  I love her so much.

And I also love her mom just as equally. 

I sighed and ran a hand through my hair. The swings were moving slightly due to the wind and I got up and walked over to one of them. 

I sat down and just lightly swung myself back and forth. 

Leigh and I use to go here a lot when we were younger and we'd always go on the swings. I was usually pushing here though, but I enjoyed it. 

This park was also where we met when we were 7 years old. She was here with Lexi, Shaine, and Clayton. 

I had been sliding down the slide when I noticed a little girl in a white and purple flowy dress on sitting on one of the swings. She was desperately trying to kick her legs back and forth trying to move the swing but it wasn't working, so I decided to go over and help her. 

When I pushed her lightly so she wouldn't fall off, she turned around and gave me an amazingly cute smile and thats when I started to crush on her. 

Ever since then, the five of us have been friends. 

My phone ringing brought me back to the present. I took it out of my pocket and saw Aimee's name and picture on my screen. 

Instantly I felt guilty. Here I was thinking about Leighton and how much I still love her while I have a girlfriend. 

Sighing, I decided to just let it go to voicemail and call her back later. 

A moment later, a beep sounded signaling I had a new voicemail.

It was of course from Aimee.

"Hi babe, call me when you get this ok? I really need to talk to you. I think I m-might be p-p........pregnant. Please call me. I need you." 

*Beep* to delete this message, press sev-

I let my phone drop to the ground, my body frozen in shock.
