Chapter Two (Teagan's House)

   I called Teagan and waited for her to answer her phone. It took three tries before she finally answered. I began to walk with phone on my right ear.

   "Hello?" She asked in a nasal voice.

   "Hey this is um...Willow McK-," I tried to say but she cut me off with,"Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh! Hey Willie I thought you'd never call!" She said all pepped up.

    "Um yeah well I've been thinking and I-,"again cut off,"So when do you want to meet up after school? You can tell your mom your staying with me and we can go to the party! Call me after school and we can talk. Bye!" *click* "If you'd like to make a call-," I hung up on the dumb operator voice. 

    Well she was a little anxious, I hope she's not like that all the time. I'm halfway there now and I still got twenty minutes. Right when I thought that Leo pulls up beside me.

   He said, "Get in and I won't speak to you the whole way if you'd just let me take you to school." He stared at me with those mocking eyes and I got in without a word and looked away. He drove fast, as usual, and now I only have eighteen minutes until school starts. I hate when I have to wait on the steps. I walked to the top of the steps and sat down, with other teenagers from freshmen to seniors walking by. Everyone's either talking about tonight, or studying, or how their dates went, or something. 

    Just then, a girl with long naturally straight hair, who looks like a popular girl, walks up to me,"Hi I'm Natalie. I've seen you sit here before and I just wanted to introduce myself." She almost walked away, but I stopped her, "Wait do you know my name at all?" 

   "No, but you seem interesting. It's not just because of your eyes it's because you give off a good vibe," she said smiling. "Oh and by the way if you were wondering, I'm not one of those popular whores okay?" 

   I giggled,"Okay. Hey we should exchange numbers so we could hang out sometime. Want to?"

    "Yeah absolutely." I handed her my cell and she handed me hers. I typed my cell number in her phone and she did the same with mine. 

    "I'll text you sometime," she said walking away. *ding ding ding* The first bell finally went off and as I walked to the doors I noticed the feeling I was being watched so I raised my head a little and in the corner of my eye Ashton was staring at me. He watched me until I disappeared into the stampede of teens. 

    Oh wow why was he watching me like that? I couldn't tell the look on his face, because it was blurry in my peripheral vision. 

    The day went by fast and as usual except that I was mad at Leo, which I will apologize to him before schools out. Maybe he should apologize to me? No. No. I was the one with the attitude. I should and I will be the on to apologize. I can't stay mad at him for that long, because eventually he will come up to me and make me laugh with some dumb joke that wasn't even funny. 

   I have to lie to him though, I have to tell him that I'm not going but how am I going to pull this off. I really just want to go to see what it's like to go to a party. If he finds out I'm there he'll come and embarrass me with some kind of fight. So I could make somthing up like I'm going to my great Aunt's or something. Yeah so to him I'll be at my great aunts for the weekend, and he'll be at home away from the party. Okay I'm going to ask my mom if it's okay if I go and then Teagan can pick me up. Yeah perfect. 

    The last bell ringed, and I walked out towards Leo's car and leaned on it. I waited on him while he walked down the school steps. He never glanced up at me, until he got to the car.
