Dreams and Nightmares. Chapter.19

Light thinks it travels faster than anything but it is wrong. No matter how fast light travels, it finds the darkness has always got there first, and is waiting for it. It cannot be seen, cannot be felt. Cannot be heard, cannot be smelt, it lies behind the stars and under hills, and empty holes it fills. It comes first and follows after, End life, kills laughter.

"What's the matter?"

"I don't know maybe something is wrong, let's check."

"Oh shit! Engine is smoking; we need some water to cool it off."

"Damn it! These two are with us and other car already left us behind."

"Can't help it, I'll be back with water"

"Its better you hurry up or Boss will be all red."

"Stop getting on my head, Okay?"

"This is only chance we have, they are only three. May be I'm wrong but at least we can try."

"Get down, hurry up..."

"Hey! What are you trying to do?"

"Anuj run!"

"Aaaahhhh! Hey catch them."

"Oh Shit! My hairs are entangled with these handcuffs."

"No! Leave us."

"What you both thought ha? You will sneak out so easily, now be good kids and get in."

"Leave us you morons, Aahh..."

"Oh, I think you have some problem with your hair, Let me help you."

"Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh......"

"Leave her!"

"Oh! Lover boy got hurt then let me try once more...so......you won't try that hide and seek game again."

"Nooooooooooooooooo................."

"Ahhhhh......"

Darkness, if we swim in the sea of light for a long time it's hard to get drawn in dark. I can say this because right now I'm trying hard to survive, trying to get single ray of light but all I can see glimpses on the interval of orange and red shade, which slowly faded. After few minutes, the muffled voices took it place, these voices are forming different words but single word which worked for me as ray of hope was "Anuj", I boosted all of my left out energy to my eyes to see if Anuj is okay. Its worked I started opening my eyes slowly, ignoring the throbbing headache.

"-hy you -----my name?"

One of the voices said, but I didn't have the whole sentence. I found myself in a large and spacious warehouse. There are trail of glass windows on top of the huge wall surrounding the place, large barrels were covering the left corner and huge main gate was wide open to show the night view of wild trees. The place was stinking; I guess we were in the middle of chemicals gallons.

"You have to pay for it boy, you don't know with whom you have messed up."

An unknown voice dragged my attention, he was a middle age man about forty, with tan skin and broad moustaches, he was wearing black silk shirt and matching pant, which was adding fire to his aura which was screaming 'Danger'. He was holding Anuj's collar and threatening him with both his actions and his fire oozing eyes. Anuj... My heart ached when I saw his face which was covered with blood and the thought to save him anyhow, heighten me up to find some way out. Since childhood whenever I came across with the term called Danger only three names knock on my brain door, Maa, Papa and Navi. First two options are not applicable, so finally Navi is what I have. My hand was tied behind my back so I struggle hard to reach my back pocket, Thank God! They didn't notice my cell phone yet.
