'What sin have you committed, son?' the priest asked. After the mishap at the tea stall; she'd sent away the men by brandishing the kitchen knife. After they went, she gave me a look of pity and had sent me to the church the following day.

'I injured three men older than me.' I replied.

'And why did you do that?'

'They insulted my mother, they made her cry.'

'Harming people is a sin, my son. If someone harms you, you should pacify them and walk away from the fight and therefore from evil.'

'I love my mother and those men insulted her. I gave them the punishment that they deserved. And I'll repeat that if someone dares to as much as speak a word against her. If that's a sin, then I'll be a sinner. If that's evil, then I'll be devil himself. Good bye, Father.' I walked out of the confession room. So many have perished their lives in the name of someone who do not exist, I wasn't going to be one of them.
