Chapter 7: Why is this happening to me?

I was at the music room, thinking about all that happened, and I realized that this is what Abi wants, make me give up and go, but I won't make this easy for her, it's time for my revenge.
First I wanna talk to Ms.Christy, I wanted to explain her everything that happened so Abi will get what she deserves, I wish...
- Hey, Ms.Christy...?
- Oh hey Briar! How are you?
- I'm... I'm okay thanks, can we talk for a second?
- Yeah for sure! What's up?
- Well... Remember that Kolton didn't know the choreography and everyone of my trip knew it so we lost?
- Yeah... What's the problem with that?
- Well... Actually Abi cheated. She knows Kolton likes her so she started to talk to Kolton over and over while we were rehearing, you can ask Jessy and Devon if you want! Kolton knew the choreography perfectly...
- Well Briar... I know that you are sad because you lost their chance of being a dance captain, but there's no reason to blame Kolton and Abi about that!
- Come on, Kolton has an amazing memory, he always remember the choreographies, and for a 1 minute trio, he totally forgets the choreography? That's not normal Ms.Christy...
- Maybe he was having a bad day, but Briar you don't havr to blame the others to try to be the dance captain, you lost, accept it as a good dancer!
- Really? 10 years together and now you don't believe me? Okay fine, but when you know the truth and you realize I was being honest, then we will see... Bye.
I could not believe that Ms.Christy didn't believe me... I've been with her for 10 years, she is like my second mother, and now... Now...
Well, I just have to forget it and keep going, be strong and fight, that's what I gotta do.
Later on today, we started the rehearsals with Abi, she was supposed to choreograph the semi-finals and the finals routine, let's see how it goes...
- Okay class! So we will start with the semi-finals routine, I already have it in my mind.
Oh great! Now she choreographed a routine in 5 minutes for NATIONALS, NA-TIO-NALS, we are not gonna win with Abi leading this team...
Rehearsals finished, and a the team excepting Abi, started talking about the new choreography, everyone said that it was awful, that they needed another dance captain soon.
- Briar would be the perfect dance captain
When Myles said that, I melted, I mean, he is always there for me, and I really appreciate it, he is so nice with me and he is always supporting me no matter what, I love him.
- I agree, who agrees people?!
*everyone* - Me!
Everyone said that they wanted me to be dance captain, and it was actually really nice!
- I really wanted the spot... It has been my dream since I started to dance and thanks to Abi and Kolton now I cannot be the dance captain, and besides, Ms.Christy doesn't believe me...
- Ms.Christy?! But you are her favorite, she is always with you and supporting you Briar!
- I know... But maybe now Abi is her favorite, or maybe Abi told something to her... I just... Don't know...
- This is so unfair, I'm really sorry Bri...
- It's not your fault...
The next day I was gonna show Abi that she cannot bring me down that easy, I'm not giving up without a FIGHT.
I was getting ready to go on a date with Myles, and he actually took me to his house to get to know better his family and stuff, and they were actually really nice!
Later on we went to have a walk and we stopped on an awesome lake with some beautiful flowers and a wooden brigge and we stayed there to see the stars, when he said:
- Look Briar, I don't care what happens in the studio, for me you will always be my dance captain, so I wanna see you with an awesome smile and tomorrow we will show Abi that you don't give up that easy, that you are going to fight, and if I need to tell her some words, then I will! Just for you.
- Myles, you are the sweetest guy I've ever seen, it means a lot, but... Ms.Christy...
- Forget her now! First Abi, then her.
And suddenly, Abi appeared! How did she...? Was she spying us all the time?!
But you will never guess what she said, Myles and I froze up, what was she thinking?!
